Now that I've fixed up my patio I'd like to sit out there and enjoy a frozen cocktail in the warm weather. Please share if you have a blender of any style that you have or like. I always read the reviews on line and nothing looks good to me in my price range ($100 - $125).

For that price range, I’d get one of the bullet-type blenders with a larger motor. DD has one to make smoothies and it works well. And it’s easy to clean!
When we moved to Belgium, I left all my kitchen appliances in storage. I paid about 120€ for a blender/food processor combo (where they use the same motor base). I thought it was enough to get a decent enough product for the two years I’m here. Nope, no way, nada, uh uh. There’s no way it would blend ice. Learn from me! Don’t be like Michelle!

Kitchenaid 5 speed blender. I bought one to replace another brand blender back in 2003. That thing was/is awesome. I've had to replace the jar once but the thing still runs strong. It's made a lot of blended drinks. I think it's their K150 series now.
I upgraded last year to the pro-line which is the equivalent of a vitamix.
Sending you a pm.

The Ninja Professional might be in your price range. It crushes ice just fine for me. If you wait for a sale at Kohl's, I think you can get it pretty cheap!
