We're planning a trip to Las Vegas next month and I would love to scrapbook shop while I'm there.
Are there any scrapbook stores still open in the area?

I actually work at one! The Crafting Place 3560 E Russell Rd. It's not far from the airport. Look for a converted 2 story house. Is there anything in particular you are looking for? Scrappy Do is on Horizon Ridge, in Henderson. They just downsized, but still have a decent inventory. Scrapbook Kandyland is on S Nellis. I have never been there myself, but a lot of my customers shop there. I have heard from almost every customer, the service is severely lacking there, but with such limited resources, what can you do? Those are the only ones I know for sure are still in business. Not sure where you are coming from, but we also have Joann's, Michael's, and Hobby Lobby. Enjoy your trip!

I have figured out how to get to The Crafting Place the next time we are in Las Vegas - bus to the airport, then taxi to the store. Much less expensive than the $30+ taxi fare from my hotel. I'll warn you before I show up

I live in Las Vegas, Yelp shows it's on Russell between Pecos and Sandhill, I live at Harmon and Sandhill! I can't believe I never knew about this store!

Scrapbookwriter- I hope you make it in next you're in town! Let me know when you are coming, so I can plan to scrap and hang out with you. Iammikki- You should stop by! It's a two story house stuffed between office buildings. We are open M/W/F 9-6 and Saturdays 10-4. I'm there M/W/F 9-1. You can find all our classes and crops at www.meetup.com/thecraftingplace. The Wild Wednesday crop it a great way to check us out. It's very low key. Just ladies hanging out, being crafty. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you get a chance to come in! |
