I have a fair amount from back in the day and have no idea why I bought it all or how to use it?

My favorite way to use ribbon on a layout is making little tags by folding a piece, maybe about 2-3" in half, so it's in the shape of a narrow "V". Then I usually just staple it to the edge of a photo mat or even towards an edge of the page. I usually cluster a few together, or a least put 3 in a row.
Otherwise, I probably use ribbon on cards more.

See the great links that refugeepea posted on my ribbon scraps thread. Most of the ideas are for cards, but could easily be used as elements on a scrapbook page. I also like to use ribbon to wrap gifts. But you have to be a special recipient to get cloth ribbon instead of curling ribbon.

I routinely look at cards for inspiration because of their size.

I use a bit on cards from time to time but most of my large ribbon collection is now being used to package gifts

Oh my gosh, I have such a large ribbon collection, mostly from buying spools of it from Stampin Up one the last 20 years. I finally put most of it, especially the wider ribbon, in my den so everyone can use it for gift wrapping. It does make a great impression on a gift. I still use the thinner ribbon for cards and tags.
