Look for a new thread by msliz for the ongoing crop today, Saturday April 18th. I also wanted to give a shout out to the Sketchy Saturday folks, cristelina , for such a cool inspiration sketch! I hope to join you for an hour or two.
I’ve been doing Zoom on the weekends with my “real life” scrappy friends (many of whom I met online but have met and scrapped with) and we’re hoping to start at noon Eastern tomorrow to include our friend in New Zealand.

I will be around tomorrow morning and could join in, @kendramage. Probably closer to 10 your time. Haven't scrapped this month at all. Taking an on line class this evening, and need to create a couple of bd cards STAT. Will maybe do the cards with you guys in the morning if I can figure out how to join in. Is Google Chat different from Google Hangouts? Do I need a separate app? Do you think I can click on the link you post and get directly into the group chat?
I have Hangouts and Meet and Zoom and House Party on my ipad. Had a gmail account years ago but never use it and can't remember the password.

Came in looking for the link, but just realized you are an hour behind me! I'm glad...still wolfing down some cereal and coffee. Still, even with the extra hour, getting dressed is optional, right?

Sorry, I missed out. Hope you had fun!
My mom (who lives 4 hours away in the next province) fell and broke her arm in 2 spots. . So I've been on the phone with her and my brother all day. Absolutely no sense in me trying to go as I would have to quarantine by myself for 2 weeks upon arrival in her province. She is in good spirits, has a stack of jigsaw puzzles, had groceries picked up for her today, and my brother loosened all her jar lids for her lol. She is fiercely independent and will not go to my brothers house. She has agreed to taking 1/2 a Tylenol 3 for pain which is a big step for her!
Anyway, things have settled down so I hope to start scrapping now and join another virtual session..

She's only loosely following the stay at home rules, which frustrates me. But she's an old lady, and all her friends are old ladies, and no one is going to tell them what to do. If they want to meet up for lunch, they'll meet up for lunch. No scrapping for me today, aside from laying down some Nuvo drops on a couple pages that are almost done. Happy scrapping to all who can play! |
