Haha, yes! That’s why I let them all go last month. Too many products, and some I’m not even tempted to try. I didn’t mean to come off like I was trying to sell you on it, just meant if I’m going try them it’s nice not to pay full price for something I end up not liking. I don’t really care for every other Glow recipe one I tried, and they’ve been putting that brand in a lot sub boxes lately. I got a Murad and a Strivectin eye creams that I haven’t tried lately. I’m picky about eye creams, though. 😫 I've canceled all of my sample subs, except for Ipsy (which is on the line), but I saw Sephora is canceling their Play! boxes. I think they are coming up with some kind of replacement that is similar to the Target boxes, where you have to decide to buy it each month, so it should be interesting to see how that pans out. I believe they'll have multiple price points each month too. Seriously? It just got my first box last month! Decided after purchasing so many of the old boxes I might as well try it. It’s my first/only subscription box. As seen above I have tons to try out, but for me it’s fun. I hope there isn’t much down time between boxes.

You girls are killing me. I now have $445 worth of stuff in my basket. Clearly I need to purge some before pushing the buy button.

If so, what is in your cart? It's 20% off for Rouge members now-4/27, 15% off for VIB 4/21-27, and 10% off for Insiders 4/23-4/27. I'm Rouge and am currently working on my order. Since I treated myself to a makeover and new makeup on my birthday last month (pre-shut down), my order won't be as large as normal. Mostly it's shampoos and some of the Tatcha Rice Polish. I'm looking at the options for an eye cream to wear at night. Any suggestions for one that really does the trick with fine lines? I love Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex. There's a few ANR formulas, and they're all good. I don't really have wrinkles yet, but my eyelids have gotten crepey, but the ANR really helps, and it's won a lot of awards for also helping wrinkles. I have used the serum a lot, followed by the eye cream, which is very emollient and thick. I layer them. But I want to try some of The Ordinary serums, so I am just going to get the ANR eye concentrate matrix which is like a cross between the serum and ANR eye supercharged complex. The eye cream texture is thicker than cream and has a lot of slip to it, more than a creamy texture. It goes on easy, and it's easy to also rub under your eyes and onto your cheekbones. I like it because my skin tends to be very dry, so the thicker formula helps keep my skin hydrated. The eye formulas also really help the thin skin under my eyes. I don't have to use a lot of concealer. I also love the Tatcha Sensitive Rice Polish. It's not a harsh exfoliator, and I've had problems with physical exfoliators tearing my skin and making it very red.

Oh, I received my notice in the mail but had forgotten thank you! I need nothing but am in a testing phase where I like to get a lot of deluxe samples and test them out. I should take a pic of my set up, it’s way over the top but fun for me! Yesterday I tried a dried shampoo for the first time but didn’t notice a difference. I need to go make my observation before I jump in the shower. So I will probably go look at the mini makeups and skin care available. Check out the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo. It actually cleans your hair instead of just spraying starch on it. I actually take it with me when I'm hospitalized and don't feel like washing my hair in the hospital room shower (shudder). It does have a strong fragrance, which is aggravating to me, but it does work really well.

Hopefully they sell it in small containers because I wouldn’t need to use it often, but when I do it’s usually when we’re going to a nicer restaurant or an event rather than lunch with my BFF.

I swore I heard it said that NM is going to be filing for bankruptcy soon As busy said, it's a problem that's been in the making for several years. It's been getting more talk over the past few weeks and now appears to be imminent.

I've placed 2 orders. I've been going stir crazy, so some "retail therapy" was welcome. The last thing I need is eye shadow, but I still bought several palettes and a perfume sampler. Those are a great way to get perfume for a discount, especially when they are on sale! It costs about $55 on sale, and one of the options on the certificate is a 1.7 oz bottle of Tom Ford Metallique, which is $150. I bought it planning to get Clean Reserve Solar Bloom, but we'll see what I decide when I have all the samples.

My DS, DD, and her boyfriend all loved them.

I swear I just saw they came out with an unscented one. I’ve fallen all the way back down to BI, but I also got a 20% off coupon in my email recently — because I don’t shop at Sephora half as much as I used to. I ended up only getting a First Aid Beauty moisturizer and a Supergoop cream shadow.Oh, will you let us know how you like this? I’m interested in the staying power especially. As I get older my eyelids have gotten sort of crepe-y and I noticed powder eyeshadows just accentuate that. Now, my current eye serum is really helping with that (NIOD FECC fractionated eye contour concentrate I think from Deciem website), but I’m still interested in cream products. I love MAC’s paint pots, but they don’t have much of a color selection, and I’m not into shimmery. And a new eyeshadow (Tarte Amazon Clay) just doesn’t have the same powdery look as my other shadows do, so that’s promising. But I haven’t tested the staying power yet. eta: Thanks busy , exactly what I wanted to know! I love love love NYX jumbo eye pencils they are very creamy and easy to apply. They're out of the bright gold one, but I love that in the center of my eyelids on top of the lighter taupe colors or even the purples for a dramatic look. For a quick look I just swipe a light shade all over my eyes. For a little more effort, I line my eyelids with a darker color. I also add a teeny little bit under my eyes and smudge. I do prime with Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, and that really helps the creams stay in place. I also just got a Wet and Wild color icon multi stick, but they only had a grape shade, so I haven't used it a lot. You can also use a dense liner brush made for cream eyeliners and take some product off the pencil, which works really well for applying them as eyeliner. I got a set of Urban Decay eye brushes in a zip bag, and it had a double sided eyeliner brush with a very short and compact bristle end. They don't have a similar one on their site right now. Bobbi Brown also has a cream eyeliner brush. Synthetic bristles work better for creams. I also LOVE the Bobbi Brown cream eyeliners. The best part is that they don't stretch your eyelids when applying like a regular eyeliner pencil does. You can also smudge them for a smokey eye look if you work fast. If you want it to stay bullet proof for a long, long time, put some powder eyeshadow in the same shade over the cream. Duchess Catherine is a big fan. I really want to try the Laura Mercier cavier stick eyeshadow, but I haven't pulled the trigger because they're pretty expensive. They have holiday sets, so they're on my list. I really like the NYX ones, and they're so much cheaper, but still great quality. I have gotten some on Amazon when their site didn't have the color I wanted. Flower also has some creamy crayons, but the ones I got weren't that great. I think they might have been a little old, and that was a few years ago. I need to try some more. I've also heard great things about Dior and Chanel's cream versions.

M in Carolina, lots of great information, thank you! I will look at the colors of those eye pencils. I have about 3 full sized primers and several to test so I’m sure I’ll find one I like. The painterly paint pot actually worked much better for me as a primer than smashbox did. But I have very oily eyelid for some reason, I have to waterproof everything. I have a Marc Jacob pencil that stays put, and Stila stay all day does too but I am terrible applying it. Terrible I have lots of good eyeliner brushes, but didn’t know that about synthetic so I’ll need to check. With the price I paid for them I’m pretty sure they’re all synthetic. Will check out BB. The one thing I’m. It in love with about MJ is I have to heat it for a second before it applies smoothly. I have a very old product I can apply over eyeliners to make them stay. I think it was intended to turn eyeshadows into eyeliners. Josie something or another. I’m sure I should throw it away but it doesn’t bother me and I can’t find it any more! The caviar sticks are pretty great, go on very easily and creamy! I got a sample that was gold and shimmery so I used it to highlight on my lids and it was very pretty and easy to work with. But I can’t speak to staying power on the oily part of my eyelids. I’d recommend them, but again, not much color selection.

I sadly have had bad luck with the last 2 bottle of Drunk Elephant C Firma (sad loved these products for the first couple of months) so am going to try the Olehenriksen line and hope they work better for me. DE was bought out a while ago, so I wonder if that was a factor? Olehenriksen has a tendency to pill when I use it, and I don't even wear makeup! 😢

I also wonder if they are changing their points system because Play! boxes almost always had a 50 point coupon (except for the horrible foundation only box last fall, which had a coupon on foundation), and Sephora Favorites sets don't have the coupon.

The article says the formulations weren't changing, but you never know. I do know they were/are changing LaLa to add ceramides. www.allure.com/story/drunk-elephant-shiseido-acquistionI have found with DE if you use any other products with silicones, it will pill horribly. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of C Firma to begin with - the scent puts me off a bit.

I was reading something about that with the K-beauty 10-step routine and they indicated that some products have to be applied before others or you will get pilling. So perhaps changing the order you layer products will help if there is a DE item you love the results from, but not the pilling.

The founder of Drunk Elephant wants their products to be used exclusively, so theoretically there should be no pilling in that scenario. They also like "smoothies," where you mix several products together before applying. I've done versions of the 10 step before, but I typically like using oils before my moisturizer and sunscreen.

Can you tell me about that mask? I’m just starting to use them and have a decent collection but non of them are firming. What areas does it help and how long do the affects last? Also, does it seem strong, for lack of a better word? The ones I’ve used so far have made my face red and warm about 30 minutes after I take them off. I think I might have rosacea so that might be the issue, but I am not getting that confirmed anytime soon. Also, I’ve been eyeing that lipstick for a while, does it have any staying power? I used to wear Tarte’s tinted BB Cream and loved it, but thought I needed more oomph for my aging skin. Now that I’m using more products I’m considering going back to it. It wore very well and I didn’t need primer for it to help smooth out my pores a bit.

I think the oils are supposed to go before moisturizer and sunscreen, those are the last 2 steps IIRC. Speaking of mixing several products together, busy I am using TO’s HA right after Niacinamide. Have you ever tried mixing the Niacinamide with anything? It would save me a drying step.

Don't judge the BumBum Cream until it's ON and settled. It smells strong in the tub but - at least on me - it really mellows. I can smell it if I put my arm to my nose, but DH & DS both say that can't smell it on me from just being near me. Scents also wear off on me very quickly in general - must be something to do with my body chemistry - so just FYI. I didn't get much this time, just a few replacements of favorites. I love Charlotte Tilbury lip color though! Have you bought them before? Regular Pillow Talk is too light for me, but I loooove Pillow Talk Medium in Matte Revolution. I have the Lip Lustre in Pillow Talk and it's a great gloss. High Society Lip Lustre is probably my current favorite gloss in any brand. Hot Lips 2 in Glowing Jen is a gorgeous everyday lipstick and Viva La Vergara is a perfect going-out color.

I find the textures to change — like the vanilla one is chalky but lasts a long time. There’s a sparkly one (stardust? moon dust?) that glides on beautifully but doesn’t last long. And then there’s a purple-taupe one that I also have that works amazingly well — both longevity and texture. So I would recommend holding off on these until you can test them on your hand.

M in Carolina , lots of great information, thank you! Inglot Duraline also works to give new life to older cream liner. You can also turn powder into a liquid liner, and I have sheered out my NARS multiple stick with it. I'm definitely going to try the Laura Mercier caviar sticks soon.

FYI: Neiman Marcus is have a 25% off sale on select beauty and fragrance items. I am surprised at some of the brands and items that are 25% off! Be sure and check there for brands that Sephora doesn't carry, or to see if you can get a better price at NM. Rakuten is offering 2% back at NM as well. dewryce - off to check out that NOID. Sounds like what I've been looking for. Can you tell me what type of fragrance (if any) that it has? I'm super sensitive to scents as I get older. THANK YOU!!! I just placed an order for my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrated Matrix and got the Daywear Antioxidant 24 Hour Moisturizer both on sale. I also got a travel size R+Co Centerpiece all in one spray and Rodin Olio Lusso Lip and Cheek Oil, which I've wanted to try for a while. I also ordered Chanel Les Beiges Water Tint from Chanel. I got a sample recently and really love it. It's lighter than a foundation and gives a nice glow without making my pale skin orangey or brown. My Sephora order is waiting until Wednesday because I'm still at the VIP level. I'm trying The Ordinary Buffet serum, Hyaluronic Acid 2%+B5, and the 0.02% retinol in Squalane. I recently tried Shishedo White Lucent Power Brightening Mask, but it had so much liquid and was goopy, so I'm getting the Overnight Cream and Mask which is a cream instead of individual masks, and I needed more night cream anyway. I'm also getting the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm. I loved Fresh Advanced Lip Therapy, but it has citrus oil and started to make my lip blister, so I am looking for a replacement and heard the Drunk Elephant was really good. I also need a tinted moisturizer or foundation, but that's not something I can get online.

Such a versatile product. A MUA I follow on YouTube put me onto it a few years ago.

And I need to pick between one of these two or am open to suggestions for tinted moisturizer or light foundation with SPF: Nars - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser in Alaska Tarte - BB Tinted Treatment in Light I haven't tried those particular ones (although I'd be interested in the Nars one especially, I like most everything I try of theirs). For tinted moisturizers I do like Lancome Skin Feels Good and Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked SPF 40. I wish Sephora sold Floss lip glosses. I got their My New Favorite Gloss in LAX in an Allure box (I think), and I love it. I'd love to see their other shades. It's so hard to gauge colors from pictures online. I do like the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip lustre.
