I sadly have had bad luck with the last 2 bottle of Drunk Elephant C Firma (sad loved these products for the first couple of months) so am going to try the Olehenriksen line and hope they work better for me. Have you tried the Vitamin C serum by Timeless? I found the DE serum to be sticky and have a weird smell. I ordered the Timeless serum based upon Angie Hot & Flashy’s recommendation and I really like it. Timeless Vitamin C SerumNo I haven’t but it did come up in a search when I was looking into serums yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion.

ModChick I am currently using the Timeless Vitamin C and it is ok. I really liked Maelove Glowmaker and thought I saw more results with it (although I haven't been using Timeless very long yet). It had a better texture and smell, too. But I like the pump on the Timeless better.

Oh I didn’t know that. It sure seems like the formula has changed. DE pills on me so not happy to hear this about Okehenriksen but willing to try their little mini set and see how it goes. Is that all products all the time? Even when you wear them alone? I was reading something about that with the K-beauty 10-step routine and they indicated that some products have to be applied before others or you will get pilling. So perhaps changing the order you layer products will help if there is a DE item you love the results from, but not the pilling. No it’s just the c firma that pills and I think it’s because I don’t wait long enough for it to soak is so that’s on me. I find I can leave it on my face for a good half an hour and it’s still a sticky mess and my foundation just pills so I started using it at night instead. That problem solved. My main problem was with oxidized product twice in a row now so I ended up not using it as much. First mini tube was good so got about 6 months of a decent product but then purchased a full size and within a month the color was so dark and the smell was off so naturally it didn’t work as well for simple fact it smelled and felt terrible and I didn’t use it. Took it back, got a new tube and same thing happened. I didn't see much or any results with any of the other drunk elephant products so haven’t used them much.

Timeless Vitamin C SerumThe Timeless is really good, and Neogen also makes a vitamin C powder that I like a lot. I like Babyfacial, but beyond that, I think Drunk Elephant is overrated. Really wanted to try the baby facial but it’s not sold or shipped here. The powder looks interesting. I’ll have to check that out too. Thanks. Happy to just try some other brands now and hopefully stumble upon something I’ll see decent results without spending an arm and a leg. Funny thing is I started with drunk elephant right around when I started keto and I attributed my glowing skin to DE but I think it was the keto because I’m now not doing keto, could not get past the brain fog and keto flu feeling all the time and my skin is back to a rougher texture and dull. Dang pandemic and all my stress carb eating. Lol.

One is a serum and the other is a cream. I feel like I get the same results with either product.

It has to do with percentages so that particular might not be available in Canada.

So first off, after NM was mentioned upthread, I went over there to see if they happened to have my regular night cream on sale (they didn't) but did you know that they sell a 1.7oz jar of some face cream (I can't recall the brand) for $730?!?!? Holy. Cow. My basket has: Bum Bum Cream - mini size (THAT is totally your fault) I hope I don't hate the fragrance Marc Jacobs - Fineliner in Cinder(ella) 12 Farmacy - 6 each of 2 different Sheet Masks (a mainstay for me) Shisheido - Wrinkle Smoothing Day Cream Fresh - Black Tea Overnight Firming Mask (anther mainstay)OleHenriksen - Pore Balance Facial Scrub Charlotte Tilbury - Lip Liner in Pillow Talk Charlotte Tilburt - Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow TalkAnd I need to pick between one of these two or am open to suggestions for tinted moisturizer or light foundation with SPF: Nars - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser in Alaska Tarte - BB Tinted Treatment in Light What's in yours? Can you tell me about that mask? I’m just starting to use them and have a decent collection but non of them are firming. What areas does it help and how long do the affects last? Also, does it seem strong, for lack of a better word? The ones I’ve used so far have made my face red and warm about 30 minutes after I take them off. I think I might have rosacea so that might be the issue, but I am not getting that confirmed anytime soon. Also, I’ve been eyeing that lipstick for a while, does it have any staying power? I used to wear Tarte’s tinted BB Cream and loved it, but thought I needed more oomph for my aging skin. Now that I’m using more products I’m considering going back to it. It wore very well and I didn’t need primer for it to help smooth out my pores a bit. The Fresh “mask” really isn’t so much a mask as it is a lovely night-time face cream. It is still on my skin in the morning and needs to be rinsed off, but not in a sticky or greasy way. As far as firmining qualities, I don’t really see any on myself. I like it for its moisturizing properties. I have very dry skin. As far as the lipstick goes, I haven't tried it yet. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect nude for a couple of years. I think i try a new one every spring and fall sale, I think this’ll be #3 or #4. I wore Givenchy Voluptuous Nude for years, but then it was discontinued 😭 Thank you for the info about the Tarte BB cream.

Replenishing some everyday favorites:
Benefit Cosmetics Brow Pencil Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ABH Dip Brow Pomade
I need eyeshadow primer and trying the Fenty Pro Filt'r Amplifying Eye Primer. Angie of Hot & Flashy on YT recommended it.
Purchased to try: Shiseido Facial Cotton Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in Pear (Angie also spoke highly of this product but in Grapefruit) Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve (also recommended by Angie!) Thanks to the Pea who mentioned the NM sale because Sephora was out of this product yesterday, and I found it on the NM site at a better price! I did get a notification today from Sephora that it's back in stock, though. Bum Bum Cream (thanks, Pea enablers! LOL)
I'd like to pick up a mineral sunscreen but not sure which I'd like to get. I need to do more research. I have also been thinking about trying some Tatcha products, but I have other skin care products from the last sale that I haven't used yet! I wanted to pick up the Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, but they only have it in the large size and that is way out of my price range. I did see that they have a Fresh mask kit with this product included, but I already have the other two in the kit sitting in my cabinet to try.
Oh, and I will probably pick up a Tarte palette but from Ulta using a gift card. Someone mentioned phasing out of Rouge and switching over to Ulta, but I am finding that it's not uncommon to find that the products I want are not offered at Ulta? For example, I didn't see Fresh or Tatcha products on their site.

I have no idea how much she spends on average. I was astonished when she told me! I have a little over 3,000 but I think it has more to do with the fact that they rarely have stuff that I want to spend my points on -- or they sell out of it quick! Consequently, the points just sit in my account!

The other day I used a sample of a Moroccanoil hair treatment and REALLY liked it. I was feeling my hair all day. I held back from ordering it because I have so many hair products that I need to use or get rid of. But man, I keep thinking about getting that spray.

A few of these items were not for me. Yeah, the Jack Black shave leather kind of gave that away! I am currently fighting the urge to place another order after reading all the great things everyone has been ordering! I have a little over 3,000 but I think it has more to do with the fact that they rarely have stuff that I want to spend my points on -- or they sell out of it quick! Consequently, the points just sit in my account! Same problem that I have have. It seems the options are fewer and not as good for the past year or so.

Not much - just some restocks of favorites. Living Proof heat protection spray. Bum Bum Cream. NARS Damage. I hoped to get some PMD replacement discs but they’re sold out. I think that’s it. Isn't BumBum cream the best? I need to add that back to my list. I bought the green colored container last time and I don't like it as much as the yellow container. I love it! It was great back when you could get a big tub of it for $20 from FabFitFun, but I no longer subscribe to that. I love the smell and it makes my skin feel so nourished.

Same problem that I have have. It seems the options are fewer and not as good for the past year or so. So true, and part of why I'm giving up Rouge. I used to at least be able to reliably get travel sized favorites of things that otherwise weren't available in travel-friendly sizes. That's rare now, though. It's just not worth it anymore. I forgot the other thing I ordered... the ELE attachment for my NuFace. It arrived yesterday and I used it for the first time this morning. Obviously too soon for any results but it is MUCH easier to use in those areas and I have high hopes it will help my hooded eyes. It definitely hits skin that the regular device can't.

So, are you happy overall with the NuFace? I'm seriously considering purchasing one but a bit worried that for the cost I won't be happy. I have the Clarisonic 3-D Face Sculptor head, as well as the Awakening Eye Massager and have been underwhelmed. I found them cumbersome to use and the eye massager head a bit too big, so they sit mostly unused. Trying to avoid a repeat of that.

I wish Sephora had the same points system as Ulta. I have about 2700 points at Sephora but there is nothing worthwile in the bazaar. I want to try to remember to look tomorrow at 11:00 and hope to get a gift card, but we will see.

Yes, I am happy with it, but I'll be honest... it's more of a time commitment than I expected. And I wish there was some kind of haptic feedback vs the audible beep to tell you when to change strokes. But overall, the results are good - better than I anticipated - and I don't regret the expense (I got it for 25% off at Nordstrom just before Christmas; definitely recommend getting it on sale). I had to figure out a time that I would consistently use it and what's worked best for me is after my morning workout. I wash my face, then do my NuFace while I read Twitter/email/Slack, then I shower and get ready. If it didn't make all the beeps, I'd do it while watching TV or movies with my family in the evenings, but I think the noise is annoying so I do it when I'm alone.

Jeez, you guys. I've started a new cart and most of it is stuff recommended here.
For those ladies who like the Bum Bum cream, have you tried the Sol de Janeiro lip butter? I've been using it for a while and it's a really nice "chap stick".

I'd like to pick up a mineral sunscreen but not sure which I'd like to get. I need to do more research. I like Peter Thomas Roth & Murad sunscreens. I haven't had any issue with them messing up makeup, or causing break outs. I used PTR tinted moisturizer with SPF and Coola makeup setting spray with SPF when I went to Universal Studios for 4 days, and I didn't burn on my face, at all. This sun safety kit might be worth trying out too.

But I’ve also seen some good items during the rest of the year — it’s just not during a sale.
