Have you set any scrappy goals for April? We have a little less than 2 weeks left in the month. Are there any layouts you want to finish or organizing you want to do in scrap space? My goals for the month:
Complete March Project Life spread - done Organize Project Life cards - done Complete cabin layouts from November 2019 Complete Pittsburgh layouts

I want to finish my March 2020 COVID19 layouts while the info is still fresh in my mind.
I *might* want to pull out all my stamps, decide if they are still relevant to me, and reorganize them.

I have a album I need to just stick one page of journaling in. I really need to just do it already.
I have my April kit I want to kill. This morning I printed the remainder of the pictures to use with the kit. Now I just need to scrapbook.
Make a kit for May.
Clean off my desk. I started this last week but after I kill my kit I want to get in the habit of putting everything away.

I wanted to complete at least 7 challenges from a particular digital scrapping site, in order to get a 30% discount off my next purchase and to go into the draw for a $50 voucher. I completed my 7th challenge LO a couple of days ago, so YAY that's one goal met. I also wanted to organise my photos so I can finally make a start on my 2020 Project Life. I am usually really good about downloading photos quickly, but I am way behind. Last night I finally downloaded all of my 2020 photos from my DSLR, my personal phone, and my work phone. Now I just have to get photos from DSO, DD and DS and I am ready to start! Oh, hang on..... I haven't even decided on the format for PL 2020 yet. I guess that's my next step.

Story of my life- I have a stack of layouts that need journaling. Iโd like to finish those up and get them into an album. I also need to edit and order more pictures. Then just more scrapping and putting off journaling again. ๐

I'm trying to make a dent in my scraps and random embellishments. This is something I've been trying to do too! ๐ What's your scraps and random embellishment situation look like? My scraps are in two 2 gallon Ziploc bags. One for cardstock, and one for pattern paper. Last month I did ten layout pages where i pulled between 6 & 10 scraps from the same color family (ex: all greens or all blues) out of the pattern paper bag, and would use them on one page. After layering, die cutting, paper punching, etc, whatever was left after the page was done got tossed. It gave me incentive to either use it or lose it. My random embellishments are very random. I have leftover chipboard pieces, paper punchies, some stamped images waiting for a cluster to be tucked into. Also leftover image stickers on a sheet. Oh, and alphas where I'm out of the letters & numbers i use most. It's hard to toss random embellishments because they take up such little room, and i do still dig through them and use them.

I keep my paper scraps all tumbled together in a basket. I donโt do a very good job of using them. Occasionally I will pull from them. I really should try to use them more. Embellishments are usually kept together by type and collection. I feel I am better about using those. I am going to start making a kit from my stash every month to help me use more of these random stuff up.

My paper scraps are also in a 2 gallon zip lock. I just went through them and got rid of anything I was meh about. When I make my kits each month I pull out a bunch from my scraps in whatever colors match. Also sometimes I get stuck and need just a little something extra. I have been trying to go to my scraps first. I have used a ton up this way.
Also I have been trying hard to just keep making pages when I make a kit and trying to use up those scraps so they never make it into my baggie. I have been marginally successful with this but any work helps.

Sadly without crops I have no goals. I am taking care of my mom this week and brought my scrap stuff. I did one layout.
I am keeping up with getting photos printed and organization is ongoing.
Edited: I did 3 more Christmas layouts today bringing my April total to 4! May try one or two more this evening. Tomorrow I have to pack up to go home.

LavenderLayoutLady When my sticker sheets get towards the end, I cut out the stickers I know I will use. Often there are a few I know I won't use, so once I cut out the good ones I toss the sheet. I actually think I end up using the cut out stickers, because I see them, not a used up sheet I just flip by.

I actually think I end up using the cut out stickers, because I see them, not a used up sheet I just flip by. That's a good idea! I've been thinking about going through everything, piece by piece. Yesterday I finally tossed a sheet of yellowed alpha bubble letters. What were those? Acrylic or something, but they were bought clear & we were not happy when they yellowed. Yeah, why was I holding them like I would ever use it?

I got a lot checked off my list last weekend. I put away and finished my inventory sheets for my lawn Fawn collection. I rearranged my stamps and moved some other stuff around in scraproom.
I have made a list of stuff I want to do or possible projects for NSD. My friends and I are obviously not able to get together so we are doing to FB messenger video it. We tested it out last weekend. Worked great.
I am off work next Wednesday to Friday plus weekend. I am still going into work.
This weekend I want to play with my alcohol inks. I need to go through my art journal raskog cart. Throw out anything dried up.
I have my atcs to make for my art journal class we have until Junes themes picked out. I have to do march- June

Paper scraps are in a rolling cart with drawers sorted by color. I also make a lot of monochromatic page kits to use up things up so when a drawer gets full I make blue page kits with scraps or whatever color I have too much of. Tiny embellishments or leftovers go into 4 by 6 iris boxes. Mine are actually colored so pink and red are in the pink, the purple case has black, white, gray and purple in it. Brown is in a cookie tin, and blue doesn't all fit so it's in a ziploc bag. I try to look through them when making page kits and again before a layout is declared finished. The things that are larger or more than one color, or themed are sort of a mess... I haven't figured that one out yet.

I have a majority of my scrap desk cleared off. It has created other piles, but that is for another day.
