I am happy to hear your weekend schedule worked out for you.
I loosely schedule since I retired, or nothing would get done. I have 2 cups of coffee while I check email and Pea. Then 30 minutes on the treadmill, eat breakfast, clean something, then shower. I'll putter around and after lunch I scrapbook or craft.

When the SIP took place, I didn't really plan my day so much, did what I needed to do.
Then I found I was getting bored and at the same time, came across a post on FB by Megan Sumrell. She has a page called Work Life Harmony and she happened to have a free time organizational course that was 15 minutes each day but you had homework that was pretty easy to do. I found that I was using my time better and getting things done. Sure, there's days I don't do what I planned, but I just move it to the next day. Works well for me.

I’ve tried to put myself on a cleaning schedule and I did great the first week but once the novelty wore off I had no one to be accountable to and I’m too easy on myself so it went by the wayside.
