A group of Peas are planning a fun weekend May 1st to 3rd for interNational Scrapbooking Day. So far, we have prompts, challenges, and some on-line opportunities for virtual face-to-face cropping. Lots of inspiration, creation, and love! If you plan to play along with this crop, you may also want to sign up for a May Challenge TEAM, cuz there will be DOUBLE POINTS for your team for everything you create over the iNSD weekend. May sign-ups are HERE. Everything will happen in one thread here on the General Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting Board. For now, start gathering your scrappy toys and supplies. If you scrap best with kits, you have just over a week to put some together. If you will be scrapping, maybe start thinking about what photos you have or need to print. |

I've always wanted to try the team challenges, but my time is so all over the place I would feel guilty if I wasn't able to do much. I don't want to mess anyone up. LOL

LOL There is no pressure to get a lot of points. None at all! It's all about encouraging each other to create. There are soooo many months I sign up and get nothing done. No guilt! Just fun! |

I’ll try to be here for part of it. My youngest son’s birthday is on Saturday, and since he lives with us, I can’t ignore his celebration completely.
I don’t think I’ll join the teams, though. I need to focus on getting my mom’s story written. I’ve scrapbooked most of what I can. I need to write the memories for which we have no photos.

Are you getting excited? Getting some supplies together and clearing a space to play? Have a Google account or a Hangouts App you can use to join the video chats?
The fun will start Thursday evening (2 more sleeps!) and continue through the weekend.
And if you DO decide to join the May teams in the Challenges thread, you have until Thursday evening to let me know over there.

Oh, this sounds like fun. I will try to participate! I was supposed to be at a 4-day scrap retreat this weekend, so it would be great to have something fun to offset the disappointment of not being able to go.  |

I'm hoping to finish up my 2019 Family Album this weekend. I have some papers picked out, and ideas for most of them. I'm missing some ephemera I set aside a year ago for one on my pages, so I'll have to go hunting for it tomorrow. Wish me luck!
