I did a little rearranging in my scrap room yesterday. I have a small rectangular dining table that I use as a desk and even though it’s a good size, I always wish for more counter surface. Supplies are always spread on the floor around me while I’m scrapping. I really wanted an L-shaped desk, but didn’t want to purchase anything new. I decided to move my 4 cube storage unit to the side of my desk and I love it. I put some old crop-in-style cubes that I’m not using right next to the desk and butted the cube unit up to those. It’s working perfectly. I now have another 3 feet-ish of counter space. Thankfully everything is the same height. I have albums stored in 2 of the cubes, but I think I will move those and get 2 more bins to give me a little more storage.
Anyone else doing any rearranging or organizing this weekend?

We moved to this house early last year. In September we had our stuff moved. I kept some scrapbook furniture at the farm house (since we're keeping it - not selling). I had set up the counter and the middle island work station the same as I had at the farm. Then I realized I don't like the floor space being taken up here. I'm also hoping that the craft room will double as a guest room, so trying to figure out a configuration that doesn't require a lot of prep to make that happen.
I think I came upon something that will work, but I need 2 pieces from the farm and will take one piece back to the farm. And my DH will get his adjustable table back too. But I'm not working on it this weekend.

I plan on organizing my scrap stash next weekend, during NSD.
I don't have much flexibility in reorganizing my scraproom furniture, because it is also my (small) bedroom.

Yes Last weekend I had three days off. Friday night I feel asleep thinking about my scrap room. Saturday I got up and spent several hours rearranging. It’s still a mess, but much more functional! I always had my bin of adhesives to my left, a very long arms reach away. On my right desk shelf I had a basket of misc tools that I only used occasionally. Why did it take me over five years to move the tools away and put the adhesives where I can quickly and easily grab them I also moved my stamp positioners to a more handy spot and I split my dies into two bins and moved them next to me, instead of behind me. I moved my punches to a wall shelf since they didn’t need a shelf in my desk! I also cleaned the right side pile of my desk It was really just a lot of little things, but it’s made my space much more user friendly! Now that I have the diamond press, I’m looking forward to moving my big shot and all its plates and stuff somewhere out of my way!

I don't have an actual scrapbook, just an area. I switched up my stuff in the last 1-2 years.
I switched to rolling storage to store my scrapbook products. I also got a rolling three shelf thin rectangular cart to supplement my table space. I keep my "work in progress" on it. I tend to do multiple pages if I have a lot of photos from one event, photo op, occasion, etc... When I am done scrapbooking, I roll the cart into my storage closet, that way my room-mate(cat) keeps her paws off my stuff. Switching to this has been beneficial, because I don't have to clean up and put away....I can leave everything on the cart as is. It's increase my productivity, as I disliked having to put it all away, then take it all back out every time I wanted to scrapbook. Cats are cute....but so nosy!

I love organising and I have a really good idea at this point about the supplies I will and wont use, so I find it easy to let things go.
Yesterday I did a big destash session and sold it all in one box on Facebook marketplace.
I feel like my trash will be someone elses lockdown treasure.

I am getting a new table top, so I will be arranging soon. Currently I have a L Table, but the curve part is really curved and I just end up using it as a collection for odds and ends and I hate that I can’t store anything under there because it is so deep.
I am getting a longer table and a small desk, so I will definitely be doing some rearranging. Switching the desk tops is going to be a nightmare, I am not looking forward to that.
My husband is making the desk top ( thank goodness Lowe’s delivers!), but I need to order a desk. Still looking for one, I would prefer a standing one like my table is.

I use an old kitchen table. It's the ugly 1970's vinyl topped type. I'd like to replace it with a nice big wood farmhouse type table. That's my style, and size I just reorganized my OLD embellies (like over 5 years ago) by colour. First time ever I have colour "drawers" and I have used them a few times! My focus in on keeping items within my arms-reach. When I scrap, I am completely ringed-in by shelves and carts with my supplies. If I have to get up to get something, it's less likely to be used.

My space is my dining room. I have a big farmhouse table, and it's still not enough space lol. I bought 2 more raskog knock offs from Michaels and have organized all of the things that were in the jetmax style drawers, getting forgotten about, into those. It is really out of sight, out of mind for me. I hope having everything in the open easily available is going to help me use more of what I've bought, as well as get more done. I've run across a lot of great things I had forgotten about, and I also see it's time to stop shopping. After iNSD sales

I changed up some of my paper storage recently. I purchased another bunch of iris cases so I could split up my branded papers by category. Between JoAnn's last year and the Pinkfresh clearance sale, I bought way too much.
Two boxes for misc. winter papers and embellishments. Shimelle, Pinkfresh, and Pink Paislee each get their own box. Jen Hadfield and Maggie Holmes share a box with other homey lines. Everybody else shares a box, separated by zipper bags. Vicki Boutin may end up sharing a box with Heidi Swapp at some point. Undecided at the moment.
It's making it easier in some respects because the papers coordinate. But in other ways, it's less convenient because the papers are in so many different places and I forget what's there. I might not keep this system forever but for now it's helping more than not.
