I love Kraft paper. Sometimes it can look rustic, and sometimes it can look really elegant, especially when paired with neutrals. This challenge invites you to use Kraft paper (if you don't have it, just use a brown the same color-ish as a paper grocery bag) the colors of black, kraft (or brown), white or cream as your only accents. This is what I came up with for today: Here are some inspirational type links. For the card using the neutral printed papers, I went through my scrap bin and pulled out the papers. That was really fun to do. I did not do all the distressing, as that gets old for me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOr-voyLx88 (Unity card with scraps) www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWdyiDLLimkwww.youtube.com/watch?v=lL-8uDaXytMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=zRlTFIKzA2U

Those are fabulous cards, kendramage!
I don’t use kraft very often, and limiting the colors used with it to neutrals isn’t something I have ever tried.

I don't often use brown shades but I do like a good kraft card. I will have to give this a try when I have a moment. I just got some stamps that are a bit more "distressed" than my usual style so maybe they'll look good with some kraft. And I just swatched my watercolors and realized I have a white watercolor, so that would be an extra challenge for me (I'm trying to figure out how to better use watercolors).

I just did a card where I watercolored with white on kraft paper. It was really fun. The key I thought was to use very little water and layer up the white. I liked the effect, and these were cheapo watercolors.

I haven’t finished the card yet, still needs a sentiment, but I did stamp one of my new Tim Holtz hipsters onto a kraft cart base today and experimented with water coloring him in with some white highlights. I was pretty happy with the results, especially for a first try. http://instagram.com/p/B_liGgiJjfd

I love using kraft for masculine cards. Often use metallic embossing powders or diecuts on them. Have not used paint on them much but this is a great idea, @kendramage!

Love the "hipster" stamp and the way you used the watercolors. What a fun card and perfect for father's day, my 17 year old would love this type of card as a bday card too. Hmmmmmm...enabling....

joblackford love this, I have the old goat one but not used it yet . This reminded me to find it in my mess and try it out. I know we have some old goats's birthday coming up😉. Here are my cards. I made a masculine and feminine one. Fun challenge and will make more cards like this. http://instagram.com/p/B_nerhKpyrF

azcrafty, wow!! Those are great cards! I love the way you filled up the whole card, that looks super cool. Do you like the Neenah Kraft cardstock? I may have to get some of that if it is better for stamping on. I like mine, but it is kind of "grainy."

Yes, I do. I got mine a few month ago after trying Michael's, Joann's and HL's kraft cs. The neenah desert storm cardstock is lighter in color so your stamping stand out instead of "disappearing " and smooth so its easier to color. Here is a picture to compare the colors
