in, how do you label what’s in them?
I tried using address label stickers because they are easy to remove, but too easy because they don’t stay on well. I have each vacation in its own case, as well as all things I use to scrap my nephew, birthday supplies...I have to easily be able to locate what’s in each one, but also need to be able to change the labels on any given box once I finished the project that is in it.
Thanks! 😁

I also use a label maker. No problems whatsoever.

Label maker tape.
You could try writing the contents on the back of a sticky note, and then placing the sticky note inside the case. You'd have the sticky side attaching the note to the case, not the contents. I've done that when sorting stuff before.

A couple ladies on a FB page suggested vinyl. No idea why I didn’t think of that. I actually have some from previous projects and it’s working so far! Yay!

I just use a scrap of paper, and stick it to the case with ATG tape. Seems to hold well enough for the most part.

An index card held by washi on the inside of the lid would work if they were clear.

Another suggestion for anyone else is removable labels. I got some at Dollar Tree. I have not used them yet on my Iris boxes, but I did stick one on just to see how it would hold, and it has done well so far.

I use my dymo label machine to make file folder size label. I put the label right under the latch. Then when they are stacked, I can read the label.

I first use alcohol to clean the area. I apply 2X tape to a scrap CS and apply. To remove when the wants/needs change, I use the hair dryer.

I stick a piece of solid Washi tape on them and write on it. They peel off , but not too easily that they fall off.

In the past I used cardstock cut to fit and just used my tape runner on the cardstock to stick it to the front. I relabeled everything this past weekend and used a regular old Sharpie which comes right off with rubbing alcohol

I use a Sharpie. Theoretically, it can be removed with nail polish remover. I haven’t tried it on Iris cases, but it has worked to remove Sharpie from other plastics.

It never occurred to me to label them. I switch up their contents too often.
If I do, I'll probably use Sharpie on Scotch tape so I can peel it off when I change my mind again.

I use washi tape and write on that with a sharpie.

I have several big travel albums I’m still working on. I also have them for common subjects like my nephew (that takes 2 boxes for 12x12 papers and scraps, and 2 huge ziplock bags for embellishments!) birthdays, one just for Vicki Boutin and PinkFresh Studio because I have a lot of items from them, and it takes up too much space in my paper trays.

I don’t...I have to keep opening them to see what in there. Well, I have a label on my box of Christmas things because I never change it out.

I have a label maker. I have also used the sticky, clear labels that go on binders. You can change the paper that slips inside the labels whenever you need to.

If your cases are clear, write in marker on a regular piece of paper, apply double sided tape over that, and stick to the inside of the container. Label is inside so it can never rub off or be lost.

I use my Dymo label maker. I love how it looks! Not my image but this is the style I own. It looks so nice on clear containers.

Sharpie. or copic. Rubbing alcohol removes it nicely! It will gradually rub off, but you can refresh if you needed.

I ended up putting Tombow mono multipurpose glue (green bottle) on the back of my labels and letting it dry. Then it sticks to my Iris boxes.

I use a post-it note on the inside of the top lid and the inside front/side that faces out.
