... or is it not a thing anymore. I've been knocking around in the GS&P forum for a bit. I just downloaded GIMP and I'm thinking about dipping a toe in the scrapbook pool again, but I don't see any digital scrapbooking threads. Maybe I should dig further. Ok - I've found a couple threads. Are there any digital scrappers around? Any suggestions on good sites to get kits these days? I have (had) so many kits, but I'm not sure where they've ended up since we've had a couple of desktops die... I burned everything to CD, but I have no idea where the CD is now. Aha! Not a CD, an external drive and I FOUND IT!! WOOHOO!!!

After my trip down memory lane the other day, I have been honestly tossing around the idea of going back to digital for 2021 photos.
I did paper 2000-2008. Did nothing 2009-2010. Did digital 2011-2014. Did nothing 2015. And went back to paper in 2016 to now.
I just looked at all my albums the other day and honestly my digital ones seemed like it is more versatile. And I think I made better layouts.
I need a new computer though and to purchase Photoshop again. But honestly I think I will finish out my year in paper and then go back again. I, too, saved all my files on an external hard drive.

I'm hybrid but my 2020 album is leaning more and more digital. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this change but it is what's happened. I also switched up to 8.5x11 and was loving the smaller size. I was even keeping up with weekly documenting until the pandemic hit and it threw me off my game. I got stuck on the week of the transition.
I wish there was more chatter about digital scrapping too. I buy a lot from The-Lilypad.com and some Studio Calico for digital supplies but I often buy a lot from the smaller digital folks like Traci Reed, Shannonm.com (using one of her templets for the most part this year), Larkindesign, Kelly Purkey, In a Creative Bubble, & some Ali Edwards.
I found following some of the # tags on Instagram like #hybridscrapbooking and #digitalscrapbooking lead me to find some pretty examples.

When I scrap it's still digi. I have enough kits that I haven't shopped for a while. My go-to shop was Snap Click Supply. Here is a LINK to today's one buck Wednesday. I love the papers in the Mr. Campy kit from Cosmo Cricket. Most of my pages are travel and camping so the papers I buy are usually outdoor themed or in earth tones.

Glad you found your EHD with your supplies. I do digital scrapping mainly and then throw in some traditional paper on occasion. (Thanks for the compliment, justjac.) We don't do a lot of digital scrapbooking discussions separate from paper scrapbooking discussions on here. Of course, you'll see an occasional thread that's only really about digital, but they're rare. Or threads that refer only to paper scrapping (the main ones of these are new releases and such, we would over power the board if we did new releases since many designers release monthly or weekly. Other wise we just talk scrapbooking which applies to both digital and paper. As far as places to shop, the only places that I know about that are not mentioned so far is The Digital Press, Pixelscrapper, and Designer Digitals. Pixelscrapper is a membership site for complete access to all download CU products. However, if you set up an account you can download 5 items (not kits) per day for free. I bounce around in shopping, but I typically buy from Gingerscraps, Sweet Shoppe Designs, The Digital Press, and the Lily Pad. I also bought a membership to Pixelscrapper. Typically is bolded because I think I've bought from almost all the places mentioned at some point or another. I hope you share your pages in the 2peas Flickr gallery.

... or is it not a thing anymore. It's a HUGE thing! There just aren't very many of us on this board. My two favourite sites are: The Digital PressThe Lilypad
I have also previously bought a ton of stuff from GingerScraps but I don't buy much from there anymore.

I digiscrap. I’m so slow though, but still faster than physical scrapping. I shop at SweetShoppeDesigns, The Lilypad, Digital Press Co., Gingerscraps (mainly for their templates) and Snap, Click, Supply. Snap, Click, Supply carries digital versions of American Crafts’ collections. I don’t share my layouts here. I have an Instagram account that I share my layouts on. My handle is @scraps_n_needles if you’re interested... I don’t post a ton though.

I have never done any digital scrapbooking.
I've been a paper scrapbook from day 1, and love it just as much now as I did when I started.
There's no right or wrong way in scrapbooking. It's too each, their own. Whatever type of scrapbooking you prefer, do that. Whatever size scrapbooks you prefer, use that. Whatever type of products you like, use that. Whatever style of scrapbooking you prefer, do that.

I do it over paper scrapping now, although I still have a lot of my paper scrapping stuff.
I did a bunch last two Christmases, and had them printed as wall canvases for my sisters and mum.

I’m also a hybrid scrapper. I use digitals from a variety of places — I never buy a complete kit, though. My faves are probably Paislee Press, Sahin Designs, In a Creative Bubble, and Feed Your Craft (all physical kits come with digitals).

I do a lot of digital scrapbooking but I rarely see any posts on here about it. I mainly buy from Gingerscraps and Sweet Shoppe Designs. If you are a Disney scrapper, check out Mousescrappers. Lots of inspiration, challenges, and sale posts from Disney inspired designers.

Lots of inspiration, challenges, and sale posts from Disney inspired designers. I used to buy digital items just to cut out and use on my regular pages or as added touches/cards to my pocket pages. I knew so little about it that I actually had purchased a few "kits" a long time ago and deleted all the png files thinking I didn't need them for anything! Anyway, I took Ali's hybrid class and now her newer one and have also followed a couple youtuber's. I started figuring out how much fun it can be to play! Just recently I started a Disney album and started seeing all these awesome layouts that were from digital kits and I am going crazy!! haha I found Natalie's Place Designs from Mousescrappers and she has so many cool kits I have to restrain myself!!

I'm a paper scrapper but I often purchase digital files of pocket page cards and print them out to include in my album.
I love how I can type on top of them, as I hate including my handwriting in my albums - I did that the first year I started and haven't included my handwriting since.
I also love that if I need a particular card ie. winter theme, I can go online, purchase and print in minutes.

Thank you all so much for your replies. I am settled in at my computer for a bit and am going to poke around some of the sites y'all have mentioned. One of my favorite designers was Shabby Princess (Kristie David), def have more kits from her than anyone. I don't know if she's producing anymore. I'll probably go through my kits to refresh my memory on what I have. Then, I hope to do a page today. I think I'll start a scrapping thread to see who's tinkering around today.
Edited - Ha! How out of it am I. I totally forgot is was iDSD! I see there's a good crop chat thread going. See 'ya there!

Natalie has some awesome kits! You get a lot for the money. I have printed out some Disney 3 x4 and 4x6 cards from British Designs. She and another designer have Project Mouse which has a bunch of themed kits. Mousescrappers is a great group! They do challenges and you can win free digital files.
