My DH is in desperate need of some new jeans. I am not sure what some popular brands are that are not terribly expensive? I don't think he really cares or knows what is "in" but if I am going to buy something, I would like it to be stylish. Any suggestions?

Lucky. We go to the outlet together and walk out with a pair each for around $100-120 when they do the buy 2 pairs, save $40.

DH wears Lands' End jeans and loves them because he can get the inseam (36!) he needs without a hassle.

Mostly Lucky and Eddie Bauer.
You can usually get a good deal on Lucky and EB on sale or clearance or Lucky at Costco.

Levi's ...probably just because those are the only jeans you can get at our little px :-) but at $35 they are a pretty good price

My DH likes the loose fit jeans by Arizona at Penneys. He is a 36x36 so we order them online as they rarely have 36" inseam in the store.

Dh is not particular. He wears dark denim Wranglers from Walmart, and they look great!

Old Navy Slim Fit. They look good, have several different shades to choose from and are $30.

My fiance has started wearing Old Navy jeans - I bought him several pairs over the summer when they had a good sale and saved a ton!

Only Levis. He doesn't stray into any designer territory!

Levis. He does his own shopping and won't venture beyond the basics. I'd like to see him in something that fits better (and I've suggested it) but ultimately, his clothes are his decision.

Whatever he can find that is cheap. LOL He usually buys at Walmart. I think they are Wrangler. He wears jeans to work and he has to be out in the shop a lot so they might get paint on them or other types of stains or they could get ripped. There is no way that he would spend the money needed for Lucky jeans or any other designer brand.

Wranglers - 13MWZ - rodeo cut jeans
and he looks really hot in them
(probably not what urbanites would consider "stylish")

My husband is a Carhart guy. He has some fancy jeans for when we go out, I think they are Silver.

Levi's. From Macy's. He buys one pair of dark, loose fit jeans and wears them until they are light from all the washing. His last pair had a hole so big in the crotch I finally had to throw them out to force him to buy a new pair.
He will never have more than one pair at a time. He has two pairs of shorts and he only wears one. He says he will wear the new pair when the ones he wears now are worn out. At least he changes his shirt every day!

Thanks. I was in TJMaxx yesterday and overheard a guy telling his friend, "$30 for Lucky jeans? That's a great deal" so maybe I will check there. Just wasn't sure if those were still in style or not. My DH is still wearing JNCO jean shorts from college, so I guess anything is better than that. His friend called him out on that and I just had to laugh. I bought him a pair from Kohl's a few years ago and he will wear them out, but more often not he is wearing these really old, faded Levi's that are not flattering at all. I would like to just burn those. The next question is fit. I suppose I should ask him what he prefers for his body type. Maybe we should just go shopping together.

We just hit TJMaxx or Marshalls together and find something that fits and looks good. I don't think there's a certain brand that's stood out for him.

My husband wears carhart jeans. They are the only ones strong enough to hold up to the kind of work he does.

DH wears Lands' End jeans and loves them because he can get the inseam (36!) he needs without a hassle. If my husband buys jeans, he usually goes with Lands End for that same reason. He doesn't prefer jeans in general, though. He usually wears Carhartt pants/dungarees/khakis/whatever they're called.

To the peas not loving the look of their guy's Levis, you've just got to find the right style. When my husband is wearing his Levis he is HOT!

I agree...the right style of Levi's and the right wash looks awesome. Dh wears Levi's 514s and they make his butt look super cute (if I do say so myself.) :-)

To the peas not loving the look of their guy's Levis, you've just got to find the right style. When my husband is wearing his Levis he is HOT! I agree. It's more about the fit than the brand. DH used to wear relaxed fit and they were just too baggy. He started going with slims with straight legs. (NOT skinny) that made him look SO much better. I always make him show me his rear to make sure it's not saggy. He's got a cute bubble butt and I hate it when it looks like he pooped his pants. LOL No more relaxed fit for him, no matter what the brand. it's also about the wash/color tone. He wears dark/really dark blue washes. Nothing light or that looks washed out in the middle of the legs.
