Levis, 501s and still in the same size he wore in high school..sigh if only that could happen to me. My youngest ds doesn't care for the Levis (not all the pants fit the same) and prefers the Vans. You can find both usually around $40 a pair.

I can't believe no one else has a Kirkland brand jean wearing DH . I let him get away with it since he only wears jeans to work and the $12 price point is pretty sweet. If he were going out in jeans, he would definitely be willing to shop for something with a more flattering fit, but 95% of the time he wears shorts and the other 5% require dress pants.

Levis for colored or specialty jeans and the Kirkland brand at Costco for everyday jeans. I think they are $18-20 and he likes the fit.

Gap 1969 - buys 2-3 pairs (at my insistence) once a year or so, then wears them until they fall apart...

Levis. He does his own shopping and won't venture beyond the basics. I'd like to see him in something that fits better (and I've suggested it) but ultimately, his clothes are his decision. Same for my dh

DH always wore Levi's until last year. We were shopping in Aeropostale for jeans for DS, and DH liked a particular style. He tried them on and they were the best fitting jeans I've seen on him in years. He bought several pairs, as we don't have have Aeropostale in the UK, and he didn't want to risk not being able to get more this year.

I, too am married to a recovering jort wearer. Finally retired the last of them this summer!
We usually start at old navy for jeans. We just grab whatever we can find in his size and he tries them all on until we find a good fit. And yes, it's definitely "we"- he would wear rags before clothes shopping on his own.

I love levis on DH, but he likes cheap Walmart wranglers. He says they are softer and more comfortable.

My DH had the same problem. He's a big guy, so he automatically went to the Relax fit. The butt was always saggy. This time we got him Carhartt jean in Regular fit and they really do look so much better. So I agree it's the fit, not the brand that matters.

Levis. He was wearing this loose fit that only made him look like a kid wearing his dad's jeans. I got him to try slim fit and what an improvement! He looks good in slim fit because he has a skinny frame and no ass.

Mine wears Wranglers from walmart. Sometimes with his Donald trump dress shirts from macys. Then he bitches that his jeans went up to $17.97 and they used to be $14.97 and this is much too expensive for clothes. I can't explain it. I just love him.

Cargo shorts most of the time, Wranglers the rest of the time.

only Levi's. I got him a pair of AE and he kept thinking they were his sons even thought there was no way they would fit him. He finally gave up. I don't think he knew what to do with them because they weren't Levi's

My husband likes JC Penney's Arizona Jean Company, Old Navy and Levi's. If I spent more than $50 dollars on a pair of jeans for him, he'd kill me.

My dh likes Joe Jeans because of their fit and fabric. He buys them at Nordstrom Rack - but he'll go for any fancy brand at Nordstrom rack that fits him.

Levis. I think he looks pretty good in them. For work he wears...Dickies and Carhartt, I think.

Yep. Only 13MWZ.
No self respecting cattleman would wear anything different. Never.
I also steam a permanent crease in them when their are new.

Levis.
Last week he was wearing his suit at a funeral with some people from work, and someone said they'd never seen him wear anything but Levis. And he's the CEO.

ditto
there is just something about a man in a pair of wranglers....
not only do they look good...but the underlying 'they work really hard' message that those jeans give off
just totally different than a guy in levis or gap jeans

Mostly Gap but he has a couple pair of Tommy Hilfiger that fit well. He has a very athletic build. That and lifestyle he would like a complete doofus in Wranglers. (Coming from a girl raised on a horse farm and living in the middle of horse country who can appreciate a man in creased Wranglers)

He buys them at Nordstrom Rack - but he'll go for any fancy brand at Nordstrom rack that fits him. This is my DH too. He always shops for jeans at the Rack because the prices are good and the choices are great. He is a tough-to-find size (34X36) and he has more luck at the Rack than anywhere else.
