Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both! As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild! These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'! grammadee

Here is my take on the two page sketch. Honestly, I started with the sketch! Even counted out ten photos b/c I thought that would get me some extra points with 5 pic's per page. But after I had the background laid out, the photos didn't seem to work the way I wanted them to, so I let them "fall where they may" on the LO, then buried the sketch in scrappy supplies while I looked for what else would work on the page. Anyway, it DOES have a similar background to the sketch. And it has a linear flow of photos, so I submit... We were MADe for Sunny Days by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Finally got around to doing my own sketch challenge! I’m trying to finish up my HI 2016 album.
I know it looks a little off balance on the left side, but I didn’t want to cover up all of the pretty sunset paper.

This is my layout for the sketch. I was excited to work with this sketch because when I was looking for some photos to use on another sketch, I wanted to scrap these photos, but I needed a sketch that had 10 photos. This was perfect! I used the 'Farmhouse Spring' kit by the Ginger Bread Ladies. Hmmmm, Farmhouse Spring papers for rainforest in summer photos!

Saving this one, if you don’t mind!

I've been wanting to use the scraplift for a picture of lilacs since May 1st - but the lilacs took forever to bloom! I really liked the sentence strips on the bottom of your example, so I kept them. I don't like the extra lilacs stickers by my strips, but by the time I decided I didn't like them it was too late.

Your Lilac Time page is beautiful, jjpeapea. Love the soft striped pp and the lilac stickers. Great lift! I love lilacs, too, but ours are not blooming yet.
