My son was just released from the hospital after diagnosis and treatment for Kawasaki Disease. We've had great medical care, but I have some post hospital care and parenting questions on some of the softer/gray areas that are as much behavioral as medical that I thought parents who had BTDT might be able to help me with. The KD forums are pretty quiet.
Please PM me if you're available for chat!
We caught Matthew's as early as it can be diagnosed and so far, no heart damage, and he responded without negative reaction to treatment, so his prognosis is very, very good.

No experience, but prayers for healing for your precious boy. And hugs for mama!
So thankful the outlook is so great for him!

I know nothing about it myself, but my friend's son was diagnosed with it.

I started writing a reply about how a friend of mine's son was just diagnosed...and then I realized it was YOU! LOL...I'm a dork.
Hope he is doing better today.

I know one person who has had it as a baby, but it was in the late 1970's.
