I finished my rainbow granny square blanket! I started making the squares back in Feb 2019 when I decided I should learn how to crochet properly... I learned a new edging to finish it off, which I really like. http://instagram.com/p/B_2zih8gwH6

joblackford- Yes, I remember we were working on projects at the same time. This blanket looks so pretty and bright! Just right for Spring and Summer. Good job! I did finish my hat after having to start over. LOL! Are you doing any more crocheting? I want to start a flower to add to my hat.

joblackford - Yes, I remember we were working on projects at the same time. This blanket looks so pretty and bright! Just right for Spring and Summer. Good job! I did finish my hat after having to start over. LOL! Are you doing any more crocheting? I want to start a flower to add to my hat. Glad you got your hat done! Looking forward to seeing your flower. I dropped both of my finished blankets off at the YWCA along with a journal someone gave me. They distribute them to moms and kids who have escaped from domestic violence, and I was pleased they could take them even with the virus restrictions. I’ve been working on the blanket I started before I started joined the rainbow blanket. I do a row or two most evenings when TV is on, or if I’m chatting with someone and need to keep my hands busy. It’s the same yarn as the another blanket I shared here, but I like the random color changes better in a stripe design. We had a really hot couple of days recently and I realized why I don’t crochet much in the summer - my hands got sweaty and it got difficult to handle the acrylic yarn smoothly. It stuck to my fingers. We don’t have A/C and our living room gets into the low 80s in the summer. So I might have to give it a break soon. http://instagram.com/p/CATdyG0g0f2

LOL! I know what you mean about that hot weather! We live in an apartment and it gets hot in here so easy so that limits some of my activities like baking goodies in the oven. Your blanket looks good and I hope you can finish it in the future.

Here’s progress on my blanket. It’s that time of the month when I need to estimate how much time I spent crocheting since last month! I’ll have to do a row and time myself. http://instagram.com/p/CAwBvyJAST5

That blanket looks lovely, joblackford! Such pretty colours. Always good to see progress, too.

joblackford - This is so pretty! Great job! Here is a wreath I just finished and hung on my front door. I started it at a M's class back in March. Then quarantine happened and I lost interest in finishing it. This week I decided it was time to complete it and hang it up to uplift us and our dear neighbors as they pass by. That’s beautiful kellyr21 What a lovely sight to come home to. I wanted to share some sunshine and rainbows with the neighbors too but I didn’t have any teddy bears or rainbows to hang. The only thing I could think to do was continue to make the front garden pretty. I’m doing a pretty good job there, or rather Nature is, with a little assistance from me! Now I wish I had a wreath!
