Good morning. As we begin a new week, I'm sending enjoyable week vibes to the entire tribe. That means making an effort to make yourself happy each day. The theme for my week will be enjoy. I haen't really done anything interesting or fun in a long time. I might plan to work on a puzzle, but it doesn't usually happen. So, this week the theme will be enjoy. Sure, I will be vacuuming, dusting, etc., but I will also push myself to do little things that make the week more bearable.
Dinner will be chicken parm and peas.
What's on your menu?
What's your theme for the week?

My week theme is create. I am going to do some sort of craft activity every day. I do knit most days, but I haven’t had the mojo as much lately - possibly because my current project was causing me problems. I think I have it worked out now, so hopefully full steam ahead. DH has written a dinner menu for the whole week this week, so all I have to do is cook. Tonight is grilled halloumi cheese with ratatouille. I made the ratatouille this morning, so it has had plenty of theme to cook done and the flavours to blend.

DH and I are going in the car down to our Town Center. It is beautiful with 2 lakes and a European themed atmosphere. There is a trail around the lakes so that's where we'll walk today. Dinner might be split pea soup. I have some frozen and it needs to be eaten before it gets too hot. My theme this week is to sort through my Italy pictures.

I am having the worst time today getting some work mojo. I just want to sit and do nothing. I will crochet. I will scrapbook. I will do yoga. I will run. I will do all sorts of things I enjoy.
Tonight's dinner is steak, corn on the cob, and brussels sprouts.

Hi ladies. Happy Monday! Tonight, if the weather doesn’t interrupt 🤬, dinner will be elote corn and Mexican Alfredo Pasta.
I think my theme for the week is progress. I need to get some more of my home projects completed. I’ve been putting off the bigger ones. 😕

I’ve been putting off the bigger ones. 😕 My big project this week is to put all of my winter stuff away and pull out, wash and organize all of my summer stuff. It sounds daunting, but I will if you will. Home projects feel so good when you have completed them.

What were you working on that was giving you problems? Call me Mrs. Nosy Crafter. I am working on a summer sweater for me, which has a really complicated lace panel on the front. I kept dropping stitches and due to the pattern, that just messed everything up and I would have to rip back and start over. I now have stitch markers everywhere and have put in lifelines after each repeat, so hopefully third times the charm!

It is a bright cobalt blue - one of my favourite colours and very summery.

Happy First Week of May! We had lovely weather this weekend, so I spent more time just sitting on the patio enjoying it. Sat. afternoon I went to DD's to help her with some things, but my main reason was to have kitten time! Enzo was adopted last week and little Emilio was having to adjust to missing his brother. He seems to be bouncing back now though. Also went for a ride about town yesterday afternoon late with DH. The four walls were beginning to drive me crazy, plus I'd just lost all my mojo to do anything. Feeling much better today. My theme for the week is create. I've got a tunic for myself in progress, as well as several other small crafty projects I'm working on. There really hasn't been much progress made here in the past two weeks and it's time for that to change.
Dinner this week will be easy. DH is eating Snap Kitchen meals, while I'll be having salads. I may try a new scalloped potatoes recipe tonight as well. It has no cheese so is a bit lighter.

I have missed you ladies. Hope all is well.
I am still working so unlike most of the world I am getting nothing done around my home because when I get home I am just burnt out. I am a law clerk and there is only myself one lawyer and one assistant in our office. Everyone else is working from home. I am happy to have a job and it is keeping me sane I just have to stay off facebook where most of my friends are renovating their houses, doing 4 hours of yoga or baking their 100th loaf of sourdough bread and I feel inadequate. LOL. I scrapbooked for the first time in ages on Saturday for NSD and realized how much I missed it so tonight I may continue it.
Dinner is left over burgers and fries

My theme for the week is "tip toe back to normal." This morning I did an almost-normal thing. I was able to go the the library (via curbside drive up) to return books checked out in March and get a new book! Such a small thing, but it made me happy.
Dinner will be spaghetti and garlic bread for DH and a fruit smoothie for me.

Happy Monday tribe!
My theme for the week is to be productive when I look back at the end of the week. This is an ingrained nature for me and I feel immensely guilty when it doesn't happen. So far today I have cleaned the downstairs of the house and worked on sprucing up some decor. I have an urge to go to Hobby Lobby and see if I can find a couple of small bright summery things. The stay in place order has been relaxed, so I think I'll venture out.
Dinner tonite will be leftover turkey soup, DH is still at the ranch and I'm not sure if he'll be back today or not, but that's what we'll have either way.
Enjoy your day everyone!!

We got home from our walk so I had to share a few pictures. It was so beautiful outside and there are duck eggs on the little island in the second picture.

I will probably make something with chicken. I want to make some scalloped potatoes, so that sounds like a good pairing. Like psiluvu, I am still heading to work and work a couple of days at home, so I have nothing really accomplished. We are still plugging away on insulating the 2 bedrooms. We should finish that this weekend. Then we move to dry walling. My goal is to keep the clutter at bay! I may or may not swifter the floors. We dusted and cleaned up after the last demo of room 2, so it's not too bad.

The house is clean; the laundry is almost done...it's been a productive day so far. And that's my theme for the week, only outside. I can see the end of the big project I've been working on non-stop. I'm not there yet but I hope to finish half of the remaining clean-out by week's end. Then I think one more week for the rest and we'll be ready for sod. Hallelujah!
Dinner tonight will be ham stead on the grill. One of the sides could be mac and cheese from a blue box and the other will be a vegetable yet-to-be determined. Or I could get more ambitious and do something more elaborate but at this point I'm saving the rest of today's energy for the week ahead.

Hi Everyone! Today I vacuumed my first floor and cleaned my kitchen. I also plan to reorganize my pantry. Today is sunny and windy. Lately to make myself happy, I have been cutting a lot of dies with my Gemini, organizing my scrap room, and last week I ordered another Tonic die binder to put dies in it. I also ordered gel nail polish and a UV LED lamp to do my nails. So I am in a very happy place with taking care of myself. Now if I could just get motivated like jeremysgirl and lose weight I would be ecstatic. I’m working toward it. But my knee keeps getting in the way of exercising or even going on a long walk. Baby steps. Tonight one wants fish sticks and french fries again. And we have some leftover beef so I might make a salad for DH and myself.

I am not working at the moment (afterschool care doesn't happen when there is no school to be after!), and I am still not doing all of those things. Same here! I have been locked down for nearly two months, and in that time, I have completed one card (started on March 1st, mailed last week). And very few home projects even started. No job. No kid to take care of for the time being and no family to feed most days. You shouldn’t feel guilty, psiluvu! *I* should feel guilty. But, meh ...

Good question! He denigrated all that I had been doing by saying “You just make supper”. I would say Kraft Dinner is looking very good. I am also looking for a place to live. I hope he is happy because I am not being his caregiver after the next surgery and that leaves him screwed. Boo boo.

Well, hello. Monday strikes again, with plenty of work work to do, and no real motivation to do it.
We'll have the last of the chicken kabobs; I'll have to make pilaf, and probably a salad.
I'm working on making a slipcover for the back seat of my car, so the dog can ride with me. I've also got to make office space in my disaster craft room; this work from home thing will likely last another couple of months, I think.

I now have stitch markers everywhere and have put in lifelines after each repeat, so hopefully third times the charm! I've been working on a lacy patterned scarf and had to start over twice before I put in the stitch markers. Then, I'm not sure how, but I knit 2 of the stitch markers into the body. One is 6 inches in and the other about 4 feet in. I'm suffering from quarantine triggered ADD and having a hard time doing some of my favorite things like reading and card making. The one thing that I have been able to channel my energy into is walking and now have a 6 mile loop through the neighborhood. Dinner tonight will be Thai Cashew Quinoa salad with a few extra vegetables thrown in.

My theme for this week is to get through it! I am going to be very interested to see if Covid cases rise where the restrictions are being lifted without having met any of the testing/contact tracing benchmarks. I am hoping that our stay home order is extended beyond May 15. I would rather be safe working from home. The owner said that she will bring us back one at a time and I expect to be last, so Im thinking sometime in June?
Anyway, dinner is hot dogs, leftover potato salad and steamed green beans.
