My nephew and his wife lost their first child a sweet baby boy at birth due to a complication. I had started a 12 x12 album for him. It only has the baby shower pics etc in it.
I'am going to take it apart/reprint pics and put it in a smaller one that they can add their thoughts and pictures of Paxton in it. Do any of you know if there's a company that might make a memorial album/embellishments etc?? Or should I just make my own??

You may want to gently ask what the parents want. I was in a similar situation with my brother and SIL, my nephew was still born. They held him and took a few pictures and my SIL did ask me to scrapbook them. So I did, it was REALLY hard, and a tiny bit awful, I won't lie. I also including pics of some of the things they had received for him that were special, like a handmade blanket and hat and booties, etc...Not sure if the shower pics should be in there, I did not include those as I thought it was too jarring, but she thanked me for the book about 1000 times. I did it about 2 years after.

what a tough subject! I know that Simple Stories put out a line last year (?) I think... maybe a couple years ago... that had a 'remembrance' sort of theme to it, with cards, phrases, etc. that were designed for a 'memorial' type layout. But I can't remember what the name of it was. I think the colors were pretty muted.

I have made several memory books for parents who lost their baby prior to birth or right after. I have used many baby sentiments about love at first sight with ultrasound photos, and other sweet baby quotes. Both babies I did full albums for were boys and I included the cards the parents received, the cap the baby wore, and photos, and in one case, the tiny envelope of ashes was included. I also included photos of mom, dad, grandparents and siblings. Some of them wrote little messages to the baby that I included.
You will be surprised how many baby things have sentiments appropriate for a baby who was loved during their existance, however brief.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a sweet thing you are offering to do. When I lost my daughter, a friend found supplies for our album from CTMH. It been years, but maybe look there?
