I'd like to get a gift card for my parents for a week of meal delivery while they are staying in place. I was about to do freshly when I realized that they would have to sign up for a subscription - which they can cancel at any time, but since they aren't the tech-savviest around, I don't want them to accidentally end up with a subscription. Plus, it's a gift; they shouldn't have to do anything to stop it from coming. I'm still researching but thought I'd check in the with all-knowing pease.
Thanks,

I've done Hello Fresh, Dinnerly and one other that I can't remember. All are subscriptions but easy to skip a week and cancel if you are internet friendly. I would recommend that you sign up and donate your box to them for a week. Then you can cancel. I liked Hello Fresh the best.

Aha - didn't even think of that option, and it is perfect, because I was also toying of doing it for a new mom & dad so this way I could just donate 2 weeks. Thanks!

you could also buy a gift card - for 1 week, 2 week whatever and they would use that to pay and pick their meals no subscription, nothing else to sign up for
