Anyone else watch Heidi's live with Tim Holtz on IGTV yesterday? I was blown away by all the cool tricks and tips he shared for the minc and the stamp toner! Now I want a minc! You can so tell that these two love and live their craft and that they celebrate each others unique style. Such a difference from other so called "crafter's/scrapbookers"

I just watched it on IGTV. So fun and I have zero interest in the Minc. They have great chemistry and passion for what they do!

Is there a link available for non IG subscribers? I do have a Minc, and would love to learn new techniques with it.

Thank goodness for Heidi sending Tim a Minc. He is brilliant! Love the hacks.

Needtime2scrap, thanks for posting about the Tim Holtz and Heidi Swapp video and to azcrafter for providing the link. In the video there are a lot of new and good ideas on how to foil with the Minc.
The only problem is that most of the supplies they used in the video are sold out everywhere online right now.

I also have zero interest in a Minc but simply watching them play was fascinating - I always admire experts who share, who don't claim to know *everything* and who are open to new ideas. Each of them recognised their own limitations and interests and yet they were so supportive of one another. An excellent way to spend an hour regardless of the subject matter!! (I still have no need for a Minc!)

I know most of us were saying that the toner ink pad was wasteful if it was a one shot deal (it is!) But the fact that you can use it on a non stick surface and eliminate that step? Genius! I loved the idea of the minc but always thought that all the negative portion of the foil was just wasted but Tim showed a hack for that. I've got a list of supplies that I'd like to purchase when my budget allows, maybe by that time stuff will be restocked.

I had no desire for a Minc until I watched that video. The whole idea with measuring the ink for the ink pad seemed like such a hassle and wasteful if you weren’t going to do a whole bunch. But now I reeeeally want one. Tim’s hacks were genius. It was a delightful video to watch because they were both so genuine. I’ve been buying a lot of scrap stuff lately so it’s kind of good it’s out of stock most places. But it’s my birthday at the end of June so this is definitely on my list!

This was so fun to watch! Their chat and mutual respect was so nice to see. He is so talented. I loved seeing her genuine interest, note taking and her mind blown like mine was. His hacks were awesome.
I dont have a minc nor will i buy one, but if anyone could make me want one its Tim. The way he thinks outside the box amazes me.

Oh. My. Goodness. He really has an amazing creative mind! I LOVE how much they clearly respect and support each other. And I love that Heidi is open to having someone else show her new ways to use her own products. Love all of it. Now I have to wait until the products are back in stock in Australia!

Seems like the Heidis and Tims of the world make good partners.

Seems like the Heidis and Tims of the world make good partners. I have to admit, when I first saw this thread, I thought of Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn. It IS a good combo!

Here's another vote for using it the way Tim did instead of with the stamp pad - which does just seem to disintegrate. Start at about 1:00 in
