I am going to use my Silhouette, but not sure whether to cut it out of CS or vinyl. With cardstock, I gotta worry about it being applied straight. With the vinyl, worried about the transfer tape pulling up part of the mat.
Which would be better?

Id go with cardstock. You have to get it straight either way.

With the vinyl I only have to get the strip of letters straight, with cardstock it would be each letter.

If you cut the quote exactly as you want it with cardstock, you can put adhesive on the letters and use the negative space as a template. Just put the letter back in place. Easy Peasy.

I used HTV and an Easy Press and it worked wonderfully!
