joblackford I love!!!! I kinda regret I didn’t do more personal journaling vs relying on the news. I love that you’ve got both!

I’m focused on getting 2019 PL done. I’m going chronologically and finally at the end of July. I’m determined to keep 2019 catch-up ahead of my current 2020 PL. Now that I’m nearly past the (busy full) summer, I think it’ll go more quickly.
Yesterday I should’ve been able to get several spreads/weeks done, but instead decided to add multiple 3x3 inserts that showcased a variety of little things from our epic summer road trip... and good gracious that became a ridiculous time suck.

I managed to get 2 pages done tonight and 2 more are almost done. I'm too indecisive. I think I would have made better progress if I made quicker decisions. But overall, I'm happy with what I ended up with. Two pages in an evening is awesome! If you are happy with your pages, then it was time well spent! I sometimes can make decisions in a split second it seems. Usually that happens when I have lots of themed supplies within reach of my fingers. Other times I have the ideas stewing in my head for a week or more before I even start with the paper. No crafting for me today, unless it is working with dgs on his Fathers Day project. Might make my own card for his dad that can be packaged up when they send it overseas to the military base.

I told myself that I would get down to business when I got my room organized and cleaned. It is. I don't think I've ever been able to say that and mean it. I have a page in my head for an 8 x 10 picture and need to get doing on that layout.

I actually puttered in my scraproom this morning.
I finished the birthday layout.
I started four 12x12 April pandemic layouts. I'm including a lot of personal journaling about how it all is affecting my family.

I was originally going to focus even more on the personal, but I figured that the whole thing needed some context. Hopefully it turns out to be fairly balanced between the personal and the political, my life and other people's. ETA: I also don't really have another scrapbook for daily life or events, so this is sort of my 2020 album at this point!

I am back upstairs and working on WITL. Who knows how much I will actually get done today. I also need to take my trash out and sweep the floor up here, but there is a 99% chance that WONT happen today, lol.

Today is day 1 of my WITL project - I've taken some photos, I've downloaded the PL app because I'm considering making it a hybrid album and I'm playing with that. I need to make the rest of the cards for the nursing home as well

mojo is still awol but I did do two pages (sort of - they need pictures still) for the WITL album that starts tomorrow. And I cut 48 postcards from cardstock and stamped 48 sentiments and cut those out. Now I just need to come up with a simple card design to use up some scraps and get these cards ready to write on and mail (they are destined for nursing home residents) Take a look at Kristie Marcotte on You Tube. She features using 6x6 paper pads. But - she uses simple cuts that look great when they are put together. I use up a lot of random paper using her cuts.

I made a little progress on last night's 2-pager. I was stuck because it looked like the logical way to go with it was symmetrical, but as soon as I got that idea out of my head it started coming together. I'll work on it more later.

I finished up some cards this morning. Now I need to clear the desk in my office so I can do some work. But, I don't want to. Maybe I'll play some more and work when NASCAR comes on - - -

I started four more pandemic layouts this afternoon, for a total of eight today. Some are more finished than others.

I’m organizing, purging, and putting stuff away. I wanted to scrap yesterday but I had a headache most of the day. Maybe I’ll have time today after I get stuff put away and clear some space.

I just bought some more Never Grow Up today. That counts. Totally counts. Did you find it in a Joanns? Or online? I am thinking of *maybe* trying to get out tomorrow to go to Joanns for the first time since Feb. But I really only want to buy it now if its on sale because I don't really need it right now.

Yes, it was 50% off of all paper. Even the designer pads were 50% off. The other paper pads were 40% off. I also picked up some of the Horizon paper because the paper that has the 2 x 2 squares on it cuts perfectly into a heart shape. The Horizon paper was 75% off.

I am! I finished a layout for the {Not} Just For Boys Kit Club and I’m working on my corresponding blog post. I also created a kick to work with and I’m going to print a few photos to go with it.

I can consider paper as an essential, yes? LOL I might try to hold off on getting out as I don't have a real reason to until later in the week for a grocery run but yikes. This is the first time I have really been tempted to go to J's since being locked up.

I did, I did! Between yesterday and today, I did 3 layouts from our vacation last year. Felt good to play... I'm a slow scrapper, so 3 pages for me is a huge-win!
