My daughter just ordered the bike and I have a question about the membership. Is she the only one that can use the bike and program? Or can the whole family set up an account? How does that work? And do you have any suggestions of other things she should have with the bike?

You can add a lot of accounts to the bike - I can’t remember how many- I feel like it’s at least 8. But everyone would need shoes if they are going to ride. Some things people buy are a mat for under it (I don’t bother with this), weights that fit on the back of the bike, shoes, earphone, heart rate monitor. I’ve heard both the earphones and heart rate monitor from peloton are crap so I wouldn’t bother with those ones. I did buy the weights because I wanted them to match the bike- plus weights seems to be sold out everywhere. Have fun riding if you get an account, too!  ETA: she can add accounts right on the bike. I added my daughter who doesn’t live with me and she can use the digital app content for free. |

We don’t pay an additional fee to use it? She just pays the monthly payment?

Excellent!!! Thanks!!! Now we just wait for it to come! Wish we ordered sooner. Takes 6 -8 weeks! Yeah, the wait has really been extended. I got mine 4/10 - 12 days after I ordered. I know some people were having luck calling and requesting a sooner delivery by being on a cancellation list but then I heard peloton stopped doing that. But I also heard some people were still able to get sooner dates- I seems to be random about who you talk to - might be worth a try! I think that they used to only allow 10 users, but now during the quarantine, they are allowing unlimited users. Once you are logged in on the bike as a user you will also get free app access as well. There are tons of great Peloton FB groups that are very supportive.

I was going to order one, but the wait has put me off. It's spring here and I can ride outside so I guess I'll wait until the craziness dies down.

One thing about their delivery, mine came at 6:30 a.m.  I thought they were joking at first, but nope. Two guys showed up right at 6:30 and were out the door about 15 minutes later with my bike all set up. I went back to bed instead of riding! |
