For this Tuesday's challenge, I will refer you to an on line challenge site that inspired me. For your challenge, go to The Fusion Challenge Blogspot. You can choose be be inspired by the colours, the card design, or both. As an extra challenge (5 point bonus for team challenge players) make your card a MASCULINE card! I was inspired by the watercolour background with the diecut over top. I particularly liked one of the shared cards a little below the sample, the one with the blues and the gold. 2peas Tuesday card challenge 19-05-20 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Can't wait to see what YOU do! You can lift mine, any one on the Fusion site, or the original challenge for this past week.

grammadee I love your card. Those colors are great. I used your card as a inspiration to create mine.

grammadee and azcrafty, I love both those cards! I may have to invest in watercolor paper. That is what was used, right, for the front? Thanks!

grammadee and azcrafty , I love both those cards! I may have to invest in watercolor paper. That is what was used, right, for the front? Thanks! I used the back of one of Vicki Boutin's Mixed Media Ready cs. I have a pad of these papers, and the A sides are "started" with background colours. You can use them as is, or continue to layer on the media. I love alot of them, but there are others I don't see myself using, so I use the plain white backs and apply my own inks or mists or.... Probably more expensive that water colour paper, but I can't seem to locate any of that right now. I have also used pages out of art journals for playing around with inks and paints. For this piece, I applied 3 colours of Tim Holtz oxide inks to a sheet of acetate, then spritzed with water and squished the white cs down on top of it. Flipped it over and moved the acetate around until the cs was mostly covered. When it dried, I spritzed it with the mist.

grammadee and azcrafty , loved your cards (more than any on the Fusion site, for real). Mine is based on a song by Owl City.

Thanks, jjpeapea! Love the wavy background! Imaginative use of that jar, too.
