I’m not going inside places. I do curbside and drive through as much as possible. If I have to run in, it’s for less than 5 minutes and I wear a mask.
However, if I’m staying in my car or am in the open air, I don’t wear a mask. Do you?

I just realized I have left my house once in 2 months. We drove to deliver some items to mom and bff and didn’t wear masks. Looking back, we should have at least had our own in the car in case they were needed for something unexpected.

We don't put it on until we are getting out to face another person. We do not wear it in our yard while doing yard work.

Not when I’m in my car or when I’m out in the open air. The only exception is between the store I was wearing the mask in and my car outside, I leave it on until I’m at my car and have my stuff loaded into the car, then I untie the ties and put it inside an open bag in the trunk. Once it’s off I use some sanitizer on my hands so the front part of the car stays uncontaminated.

I don't wear a mask inside my vehicle, UNLESS I were to do a curbside or drive through (which I think I've done twice?). Before opening the window to interact with someone (however brief), I put a mask on. After the exchange is done and I've driven away, I will remove the mask.
If I will be exiting my vehicle to walk someplace other than into my house, the mask goes on before getting out.
I also disinfect my hands before putting on and/or removing a mask, and any surfaces I may have touched (the button to open/close the window, etc.).

Short answer, no. I put it on before I leave the car but rip that thing off the second I walk out the door unless someone is walking towards me then I wait until they pass.

I wear a mask from the time I leave the car until I return if going in a store.
I have one ready during curbside pick-up. My experience so far has been to hold up my ID to the closed window and have the item dropped in the open trunk, so no need to put on a mask.
I don't wear a mask when walking in the neighborhood.
We played tennis yesterday and had masks with us because we didn't know how many people might be around. We didn't need them (and weren't planning to wear them while playing).

I do not wear one when I walk the dog, drive the car, play tennis, chat with the mailman from a good distance, etc. I wear one if I go into a store, and I will have one at my daughter’s graduation which is in a football stadium.

I wore it at the drive thru with the window down. I wore it riding my bike. I wear it in the store. I don’t wear it walking the dog.

If I'm going through a drive through (2 times in over 2 months at Starbucks) I will. If I'm doing grocery curbside or other curbside, I'll have one ready just in case.
Yesterday I was outside and a friend and her husband came over to help me install a mail box. I wore a mask the entire time we were doing that. Her husband did most of the work, but we were holding things steady, etc for him. He didn't wear a mask, she did. We were within 6 feet so I definitely felt better wearing a mask.

I put one on before I get out of the car if I am going inside a business. If I am making more than one stop, and it is a short amount of time, I will generally leave the mask on between stops, in order to minimize possible exposure when taking it off.
For curbside, if I have to open my window and be close to another person, I will wear a mask. If they are coming out and just putting something in the back somewhere, maybe not.
I don’t wear one when in my yard, and I generally talk to my neighbors from a distance greater than 6 feet.

I don’t wear one in the car. The exception is when I am doing drive-thru or food pickup to my car, I’ll put the mask on when the employee comes to the window.
I carry one when we take the dog for a walk, but I will use it only if someone is coming and the sidewalk is narrow. Haven’t had to use it yet.

For Target pick up I do not wear a mask, I open up my trunk and wait in the car, the employee shuts my trunk for me and I drive away. The one time I went through the drive thru for food there was a sign requesting you wear a mask at the pay and pick up windows, so I did. I put my mask on in the car before going into stores and do not take it off until I can get home and wash my hands before touching my face to take the mask off.
I do wear a mask when I go on walks because I live in a busy walkable part of the city and people have a difficult time maintaining six feet separation.

Walking outside, no. Picking up groceries curbside, yes. But not driving to and from.

Yes, I wear the mask inside the car. I put the mask on before leaving the house and don't take it off until we get back into the house. Messing with the mask - on and off on and off --gives more opportunities to make a mistake, touch the mask and your face. The mask collects "germs" on the outside of it and I want to be very careful not to get any of those collected "germs" on my face or anywhere else.
Though, I don't wear a mask to walk to the end of the driveway to the mailbox.

I wore it at the drive thru with the window down. I wore it riding my bike. I wear it in the store. I don’t wear it walking the dog. Just curious.. what is the difference between riding your bike and walking the dog? What is the factor? Just wondering as that seems like the same kinda thing to me.

Not outside. I can walk in my neighborhood or visit my neighbor’s porch without one. But we keep distant. LOL the police chief is our other neighbor and he gave the thumbs up.
In NJ we are required to wear a mask inside any business. If I only had one mask and needed to make multiple stops, I would keep it on in the car bc I don’t want to take it on and off and on and redistribute germs. But I have enough so I can take replace them between stops. The old one goes in a paper bag so I don’t have to touch it again. I shake them into a mesh bar for Laundry day.
Kind of Unrelated but we had church in our parking lot this week for the first time. We parked in a checkerboard pattern. Even our cars were distancing so we could open windows if we wanted. We paid to broadcast on the radio so we could keep them closed if we want to. Also we honked if we wanted to say amen. Don’t worry it’s not in a residential area! It was different. Not ideal, but not bad.

My gf is pregnant, due very soon. They are requiring mothers in labor to wear a mask the entire time! That I think is really overdoing it.

Outside- no, not yet, I keep moving I have been able to stay 6 or more feet from people outside easily. If I were to go to a place people might congregate I would wear one. I always have one in my pocket.
In my car- no, with the exception of when I’m interacting with someone outside my car ( a pick up or a gas attendant ) then I do put my mask on for their protection. I’m afraid if fogging my glasses while driving if I wear my mask.
I might wear a mask when picking up DD in July, the 20 hours of multiple, connecting plane flights, go r her to get home, are filled with many opportunities she can pick up many things. I don’t know. It will feel weird but I think I might do it.
She is quarantining for 2 weeks though.

I wear mine in the car between 2 close stops, and if we are driving somewhere that won't involve getting out of the car, I still bring it along just in case. And we don't wear them on our walks, we don't encounter that many people and it is easy to avoid them, and we never go into a building during a walk.

No. Inside only. It’s also not recommended to wear when driving as it could impede your vision. As a passenger? No.

No, but the other day I was walking (I live in a small town). A little kid (8-9 years old) was on a bicycle, and for a moment, I thought he had a full beard.
He was wearing a mask-- a groovy, camouflage one. For some reason, my brain went to the unlikely "fully bearded grade school age child" instead of "corona virus pandemic mask-wearing child."
He was the only kid out on that block. The next day, I saw a group of 6? grade schoolers and younger playing together, mask-free. They didn't appear to be all from the same family.

My gf is pregnant, due very soon. They are requiring mothers in labor to wear a mask the entire time! That I think is really overdoing it. I can see how that would feel miserable. But with all of the heavy breathing in an enclosed space? Probably a safe decision and keeps our medical workers (and therefore their patients) safer. Especially since PPE is scarce.

Bless her heart!! I thought it was bad that they made me wear an oxygen canula in my nose while in labor. I can't imagine having to wear a mask! Talk about uncomfortable!
ETA: To answer the original question. I only wear it in retail spaces. I go to the grocery store once a week

Technically we don’t have to wear them in our county unless a store requires them. That said if I’m around people I will wear them. Outside not unless around people or told I have to. For curbside pickup I stay in the car and they open snd shut the trunk. I think if doing drive through I would put one on before I got to the window but not just driving around. Even before the mandate was rescinded you didn’t see people here wearing them outside except maybe in a parking lot. I leave mine on until I’m away from people then off it comes.
People here are losing their minds over being asked to wear them snd are now harassing people that are wearing them. It’s really sad. I’m not a fan but will continue to wear while out in public if not able to social distance so in stores. We also still wipe down the stuff we buy.
