Check out this house listed for sale in Pittsburgh. It's probably not up to our usual Pea MSL standard, but how do I not share a house for sale when it contains a tropical island and a 25th century starship? And, it is in my city! Pittsburgh Fun and Adventure House

Okay Pittsburgh peas, go visit that house.
The bones are good and once all the horrible stuff is out it will be a nice house.

Well, that’s interesting. The description is worth reading so you know what you’re looking at. But not a place I’d be interested in!

Oh my! And that one poor unadventurous room sitting there, just waiting.

That is one ugly dwelling. IMO of course.

It looks like the playhouse of a kid w/overindulgent parents who have no taste.

Don't you know that listing agent was having fun coming up with that description. I doubt he ever thought he would be writing something like that to sell a house! He's probably going "Why me? Why me? Of all the houses in Pittsburgh to go on the market.... why did I get this one!"
It just looks so dirty to me....ick.

It looks so unassuming from the outside. I would have loved to know that family! Maybe they could have toned it down for resale however.

Is the front door blocked off? And the windows?

Just looking at the photos made me want to sneeze! Imagine how much dust is all over that house with all that crap in it? I could smell moth balls as well. You'd have to gut the whole thing and start over and it wouldn't be worth it. I can't imagine who would buy that.

Ugh horrible. It's about the opposite of what I like - no natural light at all (they have all the windows covered which I always think is super odd) and it looks dusty. There is nothing I like about that house.

Oh dear. What a mess. I wouldn't have the energy to fix that up.

Did anyone else notice the oven was up against the ceiling. Not that the kitchen even looked like it was used.
That whole thing is just.....wow.

Oh hahaha! And here I was thinking that they'd done a lovely tropical oasis out in the backyard a'la Lucas Lagoons! Imagine my disappointment.....

I think if all the decor was removed, the walls were painted one solid neutral color, and the flooring was neutral in color....it has potential.
The wall with all the built in electronics? was bizarre.

That one room with the beach - reminds me of the trading spaces room where the couple got the room full of sand.

i kinda like it! especially that two story main room and then the balcony that goes around it.
let my qualify that and say i would need to have another house to actually *live* in and then i would rip everything out of it. it would be an interesting challenge to lighten and brighten in up and a big step would be to open up some space. kitchen wouldn't really be an issue as i have never had a kitchen bigger than that in my life.
as is, it looks dusty and, well, eccentric.

After seeing the tropical bedroom with sand, I just hope they don't own a cat. This is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover", because it looks like a simple and boring ranch from the front yard.

That is not what I was expecting after reading the description. What a let down. BTW, is that actually SAND in the tropical bedroom?? Oh sweet unholy mess.
What surprised me was that one plain undecorated corner. Did they run out of steam? Or ideas?

Is the front door blocked off? And the windows? I looked at the first photo too and wondered why they were not starting with a picture of the front of the house. Then I realized it was the front. And that plant has grown part way over the door. Do they not get any visitors? It is an incredibly unappealing frontage.
