Does anyone else read certain thread titles and know without opening who posted them? I know if it's an interesting factoid or destination, it's almost always posted by libraryladyThere are certain kinds of political threads I can guess who posted, and the IP threads can often be linked to elaine. Anyone else?  |

I am going to make an effort to start reading the names of the posts I read. I am so bad about names that I have not been doing so knowing that I would forget them before reading the next post. It is situations that I remember and I pray for the peas needing prayers.

Most of the time I don't notice who posted...
I've been here 6 years and still have trouble connecting personal things to the pea.
(such as "she is one with elderly father, she teaches, etc.)

As above, some are pretty much a sure thing, the regular political stuff mostly from Zinger, other than that no not really! Anything about the British Royals will be a Brit or QueenoftheSloths 😊 Sometimes the non American posters are easy to spot too. I love seeing new threads by people who don’t often post 😊 |

As above, some are pretty much a sure thing, the regular political stuff mostly from Zinger, other than that no not really! Anything about the British Royals will be a Brit or QueenoftheSloths 😊 Sometimes the non American posters are easy to spot too. I love seeing new threads by people who don’t often post 😊 I saw the notification that I had been tagged on this thread, and I thought it was odd, because I didn't think I had anything I posted about regularly. But I am guilty as charged! (I saw some super cute pics of Jack & Eugenie packing food boxes for the Salvation Army the other day. They are just the sweetest couple! They always look so happy to be together.) |

Most of the time I don't notice who posted... I've been here 6 years and still have trouble connecting personal things to the pea. (such as "she is one with elderly father, she teaches, etc.) I am the same, but I was a member of the old board from almost the beginning. There are maybe 5 peas I can recall personal stuff about. I recognize avatars but rarely pea names and even then it is more I recognize their posting style (the one who makes me buy things, the one who posts funny gifs, the one who has good taste in music and movies, etc). I need to be better about names, since when people change their avatar it takes me forever to get to “know” them again. |

I usually never look at the name of the poster unless it catches my attention for some reason. I start reading and think. Oh this sounds like so-and-so and usually I am right.. haha.. BUT I am bad at who is who... but the ones that I usually guess are: oh yvonnelibraryladysharlag |

I would classify many of her threads as focusing on “new age” topics - astrology, etc. - in addition to the what song posts. She definitely adds another viewpoint and voice to our board.  |

More often than not I am clueless, but the avatar pictures often jog my memory. For example, I think you do the really nice house renovations and have a doppelganger on Twitter.

I usually open a thread based on the subject. But if a response turns smart alecky/nasty or punny or argumentative I think “oh this must be so-and-so.” I recognize some threads by a posters’ style like Library Lady (click & link) or Freddie (political).

I wasn't at the old board from the beginning, but for years. And I've been here almost since the beginning. I have a TERRIBLE time with names.
