I wasn't sure how to word this, but it's all in fun. I get irrationally irritated when I see letters with the middle of the letter not removed. Like the triangle in the letter A. It truly does not matter, but I cannot do it!
I'm sure there are others that would never mix square and rounded Project Life cards, but I'm like, meh, the page is finished. The colors work. Which leads me to another thing, I can't finish one page in a setting. I want to do all the stamping, all the adhering, all the manual die cuts at once.  |

All the plastic I have to toss because every product is wrapped in it... including the circle thing from the end of the ATG tape roll.
That I save branding strips and never use them.

I get irrationally pissy about those ATG refills that are wrong side out. I know that there's a way to "fix" them, but damnit, I don't want to have to fix something that shouldn't need to be fixed in the first place.

I’m pretty easy going about a lot of things that bug others. I’ll mix square and round corners in my project life. I’ll *gasp* mix cream and whites if there’s something else tying it together. I won’t hesitate to put a pic with a white birder in the same spread with borderless photos.
What really gets my goat is humongous pages with a mountain of embellishments and a ton of white space with a teeny tiny thumbnail of a picture and zero journaling. I just don’t get the point of that at all.

I just don’t get the point of that at all. My feelings on this type of thing has changed over time. My life is quite boring and I don't really do scrapping to preserve memories anymore. The number one thing is to play with paper. I've thought of going that route because it would be a lot of fun and maybe that photo would look more cool. Like yeah, I love that drink or that hamburger from Wendy's. Look at the importance she placed on one photo.

All the plastic I have to toss because every product is wrapped in it... I recently had this issue with an order of diapers. They were in a box within a box and there was a long roll of paper stuffed in between; for diapers.  |

Not something that bothers me but it makes my mom ragey that I have a whole scrapbook room full of stuff but go out and buy greeting cards. 🤷🏼♀️ My life is busy these days and I don’t want to spend my crafty time making cards. I’d rather scrapbook. Maybe some day I’ll make more cards. Or maybe not.

Nothing. Every scrapbook-related thing that does bother me should, such as 12x12 papers that don't measure 12x12" (especially those that aren't even square!), Thickers advertised as "letter stickers" but don't stick, & products with factual/spelling/printing errors.

Because we use metric instead of the old imperial measurements, the local manufacturers initially made all paper 30cm x 30cm, which is 11 and 13/16th inches. (I don't even know how to write that properly! ) So everything was just that much too small. After a few years they all changed over to 12x12 inches - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! get irrationally irritated when I see letters with the middle of the letter not removed. I saw a LO like this recently, and I saved it because I thought it looked really cool and I wanted to do a layout using that technique. Then just the other day I saw someone else saying how much they dislike it! |

I learned the hard way that there is a line carried by Spotlight (I can't recall which one right now) that still produces paper pads this way. But what is SUPER annoying is that it's labelled as "12inx12in(30cmx30cm)". They are definitely NOT 12x12 papers in the pad. |

Anything that doesn't work exactly as it should the very first time.
Stamps that don't stamp cleanly.S
Manual dies that you have to finagle shims to make it cut clean, or trim the diecut the rest of the way after running through the machine.
Electronic diecutters where the blade has to be played with, and especially if my paper gets ripped while trying to cut. And remember when the sticky mats were too sticky at first, ripping die cuts as you lifted them from the mat? And so we were told to touch the mat, maybe touch the mat to denim, to try to unsticky it a bit. Ridiculous.
Any product with misspellings. How lazy do you have to be?
Nozzles that clog.

That letter stickers NEVER come with enough vowels, all the packaging, when I rip a PL page protector and now they are harder to find, letter sheets with multiple colors on them because the letters I need never seem to be right color, "best day ever" type sentiments on everything, word strips with the same phrases over and over (I'm looking at you Ali Edwards), how die-cuts seem to keep getting bigger and bigger, giant white boarders on stickers and die-cuts, and the lack of LSS stores where I could see stuff in person, & how classes are often a monthly subscription.

I truly believe there is no wrong way to scrapbook. BUT, I cringe when one of my friends cuts her photos into shapes. Go ahead, judge me, lol.

When 12x12 paper or cardstock has to have the stupid strip cut off and there is no real way to know where to cut. (New Bazzill!) Yes, I can measure, but that means I have to go and find my cutter with the swing out arm, and I just want a line showing me where to cut! People who make a big deal at the difference between "art" and "craft" and get all high horse about it. Also, (this was only once) I met a scrapbooker at a retreat who used elmer's glue on photos, no lie. I practically tried to force a tape runner into her hands. She refused, said she liked her glue very much.  |

I do know there is no wrong way to scrap, everyone has their own way but for me personally:
Words and letters on a larger scale patterned paper bugs me to death. It makes the title really hard to read.
I can't personally do white and cream together but I've seen other people do it and it looks okay. It just isn't for me.
I also need "white space" on a page. The eye needs somewhere to rest- it becomes hard to look at the photos themselves if too much is going on.
I don't like white boarders around diecuts and more often than not I cut them off. I also don't like sticker packs where the letters aren't all the same color. Once again, it makes it hard to read.

The fact that BH has given up on PL and now I am scrambling to stock up on a few more PL 12x12 binders and Design A pp’s. I have some coming from ACOT and Crafts Direct, but it makes me sad to think that it is starting to disappear. Yeah, I could switch to something else, but I don’t want to.

INK... drives me mad.
I have a shit ton of different ink and over 600 stamps. (It was all bought in a lot along with other scrapbook stuff for $20). I was going to be the next great stamper. HA..
I get so confused what kind of ink does what. I just sit there like an idiot and try to watch videos on how to use the stamps, but most videos I find cater to people who currently stamp. I give up. I am giving my WHOLE stash except my Tim Holtz Distressed Ink to a friend who is a serious stamper. I know she will appreciate it.

Plastic packaging also drives me nuts. Especially when all the individually wrapped items are already coming in a giant plastic envelope or pouch.

That amazes me, that five people, whose job it was to check the spelling, looked at each word thoroughly, and none of them caught a mistake. And neither did a computer spell check.

Well, like I said, it happens. Imagine this!! Sending out a brochure to attorneys for a conference. I am the typist. I have three people checking errors. No one finds it. I don't see it. They don't see it. (granted this isn't a "job" expect mine since I am the original typist.. just random helpers).. The name of the group/conference is Lawyer's Public Information Foundation. Leave the "L" out in Public.. and then mail about 50 of them when you get a call from a paralegal friend laughing her ass off. Talk about embarrassing. |

I can’t think of anything that shouldn’t bother me but the first thing that pops in my head that does bother me is always the non sticky chipboard situation which is complimented by the extra sticky foam letters that peel off a layer of the backing sheet. And I won’t discuss having to glue down card stock stickers now.

The flimsy patterned paper that comes in some of the craft magazines from the UK. I understand they are "free," (although the price has been calculated into the cost of the magazine), but come on! And it's shiny! Again, I guess it shouldn't bother me, but it does. Cardstock that is cut crookedly by the manufacturer. Then I try to use it as a card base, and my card is lopsided. I mean, really lopsided.

I know I'm a one trick pony on this subject but I get very upset about not being able to find the albums I want and the adhesive I want. I only use WRMK 8.5x11 albums and I only use herma dotto. So these items should be available. Right now herma dotto is once again on significant backorder. 2 years ago there was rumor it was not being mfg anymore. I almost had a coronary.
If my hobby was knitting I could get needles and yarn in the size I want and the color and texture I want. Embroidery - I can buy the same embroidery supplies I could buy 25 years ago. But basic scrapbook supplies are constantly changing and I don't like it. The electronic die cut machines are a great example. There is a new one every year from each manufacturer. Is that necessary? I finally found a trimmer I like and Stampin Up d/c's it. Come on!
No, I am not excited about 9x12 albums. That is 1/2 inch x 1 inch bigger than the ones I have been using for 20 years. Why can't I just buy my 8.5x11 albums? What am I going to do with an extra inch of scrap space? Not much. Except the new albums will need different shelf space and different size page protectors and just why?
