When I watch a SB layout process video, and the page is pretty, but then the scrapper keeps adding more, and more, and more, and more! Then they start to lose credibility with me that they are good page designers.
Less is more people!

I hate it when I get dies that are manufactured as one big piece and I have to cut them apart. Dies aren’t cheap for the most part and I shouldn’t have to haul out my jewelry snips.
As much as I love my die cutting machines I hate all the different ‘sandwiches’ I have to construct. Sometimes the instructions don’t quite work and I have to shim or use cardboard instead of the cover plate.
Teeny tiny stamps. These tend to come in sets and I I’ve never used the 1/8 inch heart, flower, or phrase. I actually started a thread on this one about a year ago.

And when discount places like Gina Marie designs & Coco & Reno can send my dies all separate then why can’t the more expensive places? I’m not with you on the tiny stamps though. I use those all the time in my planner & in the center of tags. Like I get a circle stamp that says something on the outside then I stamp the tiny icon in the center. Hearts, stars, coffee cups, plants, flowers, a sweater, snowflake, whatever, I use so many stamps of 1/2” or less.

Can I just answer with "all of the above"?
Here is one I didn't see listed though. 12x12 page protectors that are different sizes. WRMK is one size, Pioneer is another size, and let's not even mention the ones that come in the albums...tbey are NEVER the same size as ANY of the others! I mean, c'mon, why is it so hard to make them the same(interchangeable with other brands)!?

The holes don’t always line up, some have different gutter widths, etc.

I am that person who notices every grammar error. I could look through scrapbook magazines and see lovely pages, but that one error on a layout was all I would see.
I blame it on teaching English for almost 30 years.
Everything else can be overlooked.

It is usually on the Hobby Lobby brands. I hate that extra plastic and won't buy those PP. I buy WRMK and have some BH and they go well together. ETA: Gutter widths. Yeah! That's what I am talking about. (Didn't know they had a name.)

I cringe when one of my friends cuts her photos into shapes. I cringe at myself when I look at my early scrapbooks of shaped photos.
The fact that BH has given up on PL and now I am scrambling to stock up on a few more PL 12x12 binders and Design A pp’s. I have some coming from ACOT and Crafts Direct, but it makes me sad to think that it is starting to disappear. Yeah, I could switch to something else, but I don’t want to. Echo Park has good quality page protectors! I know it's been increasingly hard to find WRMK, but those are better than BH too.
I get so confused what kind of ink does what. Yep! Me, i get so frustrated that I have so much stuff & yet when I go to scrap can't find the right stuff I want so order more. I know! I was doing a comic con page and I realized I need more space themed, galaxy, Star Wars type of stuff; mostly embellishments or stamps. I'm good on paper.

I agree with a lot of these... and this one is similar to one of my peeves. When 12x12 paper or cardstock has to have the stupid strip cut off and there is no real way to know where to cut. (New Bazzill!) Yes, I can measure, but that means I have to go and find my cutter with the swing out arm, and I just want a line showing me where to cut! I end up having to measure every piece of paper, branding strip or not. Because most papers are NOT 12x12; they have an extra 1/16 inch on one edge, or they're not *quite* 12x12... I assume they are, start putting paper strips down to make a geometric page design, and end up with a teeny, tiny bit of paper left over, because the paper is larger than 12x12. or my layering strips hang off the edge a tiny bit. arrrgggghhh!!!

I should have been a proof reader. I seem to spot a LOT of grammar errors and Misspellings. U try my best not to have any on my layouts.

Well, like I said, it happens. Imagine this!! Sending out a brochure to attorneys for a conference. I am the typist. I have three people checking errors. No one finds it. I don't see it. They don't see it. (granted this isn't a "job" expect mine since I am the original typist.. just random helpers).. The name of the group/conference is Lawyer's Public Information Foundation. Leave the "L" out in Public.. and then mail about 50 of them when you get a call from a paralegal friend laughing her ass off. Talk about embarrassing. We call those “spell checker what the heck-ers!” Because it’s an actual word, and it’s easy for the eye to miss. I’ve seen the public/pubic mistake many times. 😁😬

Not something that bothers me but it makes my mom ragey that I have a whole scrapbook room full of stuff but go out and buy greeting cards. 🤷🏼♀️ My life is busy these days and I don’t want to spend my crafty time making cards. I’d rather scrapbook. Maybe some day I’ll make more cards. Or maybe not. As I finish up scrapbook pages, I make up cards with the leftover paper scraps and embellishments. My mind is already on that design or the colors. It is a mini scrapbook page right? I have the card blanks ready to go. It is pretty rare that I can’t make 2-3 cards with the leftovers. Sometimes I stamp the sentiment or use stickers( Happy Birthday, Thank You, Sympathy) if the card fits that theme. Many I leave without a sentiment, and I can add later. Other than Christmas cards, I don’t sit down to make only cards anymore.

Attached dies: I don't even mind if the dies are all connected. I will often just cut all the pieces in all the colours. Really quick, and I have enough pp and cs to last until doomsday, so if I waste a bit I don't mind. Plus I can just slap the whole set back onto the magnet board and be able to find it when I need it again. But I DO mind if the small pieces are attached INSIDE the larger dies, forcing me to detach them. Then what do I do with them??? Diecutting sandwiches: Most wafer thin dies work well with my Vagabond using the magnetic platform and regular plates. Occasionally I have had to add a metal shim to make sure something cuts through. Although I get that part of the job of producing one product is to create a demand for other products, I really hate the special dies and folders that don't seem to work with anything but their parent company's machine. I love the examples posted for 3-D embossing folders and embossed diecuts, but when I have purchased a few of them, there doesn't seem to be a sandwich I can create that does justice to them. I have wrecked two different Vagabonds, so not wanting to push the envelope on thickness of the sandwich, either. Teeny tiny stamps AND dies: I have several sets of each. But seldom use them. Too hard to keep track of once the package is opened, and I don't seem to have the fine motor skills to place everything exactly where I want it. If I can even figure out where it goes once I have all the pieces: I am SCRAPBOOKING, people, not doing a jigsaw puzzle!!! It would be SOOO much more useful to me if each had a large inclusive image I could stamp or cut to use as my base for placing all the other pieces...

My previous boss and I would go back and forth on rules and I found I learned more as an adult than I did as a kid. Message boards and casual writing don't bother me as much, but if writing has gone to print, I notice it.

Letters in a one word title that are split...like Adv ent ure It’s too much work for me to read! That's one of my pet peeves. I'm totally fine with other people liking it, it's a trend, and I get it, design-wise especially on 3x4 or tall portrait shaped cards (phones have killed the natural proportions of the landscape 4x6 but that's a peeve for another time). But anyway, I hate it. Especially when the broken down word is split in a weird place either letter-spacing-wise (CHR-IST-MAS can look very weird) or when it creates new words that my brain reads instead of the word that they're trying to say (which to me is just bad communication). The one that always gets me is: HO ME

I wasn't sure how to word this, but it's all in fun. I get irrationally irritated when I see letters with the middle of the letter not removed. Like the triangle in the letter A. It truly does not matter, but I cannot do it!
I've been guilty of this especially when I place letters on a patterned paper only to realize that the open part of the letter makes the title look too busy with the pattern paper showing through. That's when I go in and pop in the little parts.

I can still diagram sentences. I learned a lot in that class. Seventh grade English in a school building that was torn down after I graduated eighth grade by Mrs. Medaris.

But honestly, so easily done. This is why:
"Unisg the icndeblire pweor of the hmuan mnid, aocdcrnig to rseecrah at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mttaer in waht oderr the lterets in a wrod are, the olny irpoamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rhgit pclae."
The human brain is an amazing machine.
Some of my semi-irrational annoyances: - Stores that only partially stock a product line. What good are all the embellishments without any of the papers? - Embellishment / sticker packs with even numbers of repeated elements. Design wise it just doesn't work for me. - Alphabet sets that don't contain enough of the commonly used letters. - Texture pastes / mixed media products that dry out before I can use them all up.
