Yes, I sell collectibles and my business is up 230% from the same period last year. We can barely keep up.

My team processes unemployment, leaves of absence, furloughs, displacements, and we are incredibly busy.

My brother manufactures fishing lures. He has been very busy keeping up with orders. I guess everyone is fishing

We sell local honey, and have had a big upsurge in orders. It's great, normally we sell at events that are all going to be affected by Covid19, so hopefully this will make up for it.
There is a big local food scene here, people are generally very supportive.

Yes. I sell on teachers pay teachers and I’ve sold a ton of digital activities. I would love the link to your store! I would love to support a pea! Not sure how useful it would be to most teachers, I sell mostly French things but I have other languages plus lots of digital escape games for history, and some virtual backgrounds and digital agenda slides for all subjects. www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Frenchified

Yep. I’m an attorney. My litigation docket is slow because the courts have pretty much shut down, but I’ve been super busy drafting contract clauses and policies and advising clients on how to address new issues arising from CV19.
I’ve also been giving webinars and I have to constantly stay up to date with the myriad federal, state, and local laws and how they all fit together, which is a super ball of fun since it changes every other day!

DH works at an RV dealership and if the sales department keeps up the current pace, they could have one of the highest sales in May in the history of the dealership., which has been around for decades. It is crazy busy.
And everyone is super bitchy.

Nope - all my weddings are moving to 2021 (at least March - August so far). A couple pushed into the fall, but most are waiting for 2021.
I decided to completely shut down - my commercial kitchen is in my house, and while it is health inspected, my son works in a grocery store so I'm erring on the side of over-cautious and not taking a chance.
We are taking the down time to renovate the basement space just outside my cake studio - it will not be useable for family life, so if we close it off with a door (basically the stairs to the basement from the main floor divide the basement into two halves) right at the base of the stairs, I can use it for storage. The health unit says walls, floor & ceiling finished and I'm all good to use it. So I currently have drywall dust everywhere anyway.
Once that is done I can re-organize my space and give it a good cleaning top to bottom, and re-open. I've gotten several inquiries for grad cakes, so I will definitely have work. Not weddings, but definitely other cakes! I figure I can place a table right outside the door to my space and arrange set pickup appointments and set the cake on the table for clients to grab and I don't have to have them in my space.
Glad to hear some are busy!

My husband’s electronics manufacturing company had a record month. From all different industries. He’s a bit confused but will take it. Their projections are very good for the year. Weird. possibly because manufacturing/shipping from China has slowed to a crawl?

I’m gonna say a simultaneous yes and no?
Personally, I just got promoted to assistant manager, but I’m still partly over quilt shop until we get someone set replace me there..... and I’m 8 weeks into my first term of college. So I’m running like crazy....but it’s mostly just a mental workout in both cases.
At work, the store overall has JUST started to see normal sales numbers, but it’s almost all in quilt shop. Tons of mask making supplies. So the store isn’t super busy, unless you work in the quilt shop....lol

It is nice hearing that there is a positive effect for some people and businesses. I did think of how busy printing places must be with all the extra signage! At least at Panera, we just printed the Covid related signs at home. I know some places that have some that are metal and meant to be up longer though. Staff is down while sales are hit or miss. We are only running 4 people during daylight hours and 2 from 4 pm to close at 7. It's not really enough to do proper customer service but that's on them.
