Oy. My dh is traveling a LOT this fall, and before he left we noted that he'd be gone on our anniversary so we said we'd go out for a nice dinner in early December (he'll be back right before Thanksgiving). But as crazy as my life has been lately I totally forgot that today is the 28th. Until I got home from work today and found roses waiting for me.  He's a sweetie, he thought of it before he left so that they'd be delivered today.  Now I need to go look up what's traditional for the 25th, so I can get something for him. We never really give fancy anniversary gifts (we usually just go out to dinner since that's not something we do much) but I feel like 25 is a milestone one.  |

The 25th is a Silver Anniversary. Aw how sweet of your DH to remember.Bet that made you even more guilty when you realized.  Generally we make quite a thing of the 25th anniversary here, sort of extra special. Oops totally missed saying Happy Anniversary |

Yeah, he's a keeper. I'd love to be on some beach also, but it won't ever happen on our anniversary because of his travel schedule. I don't even know exactly where he is so planning ahead to send him something wouldn't work. Fortunately both of us are happy to celebrate sometime and don't care if it's not done exactly on the date. -- I just think it's funny that despite us talking about it before he left, and planning for dinner when he gets back, still the date didn't register until I saw the roses. lol |
