Those are beautiful. I pass through a town that has two old silos that have been painted. I stop frequently. I love seeing them. Sorry so big. ETA - picture from this article. Painted silo article

We have seen several different silos painted on our travels and they do look truly amazing.
The size of the structure and the detail in the painting is certainly worth the look.

I love them. Especially on newer, monstrosities. I like the look of old barn silos as is.
I hope birds don't fly into the realistic skies like they do window reflections.

I love that they've become a tourist attraction in themselves. My sister drives past the one in Coonalpyn for work and shared photos with us as it was being painted. The detail is amazing given the size of the canvas.

I love the painted silos! There is actually a Silo Art Trail in my and Chinagirl828's state. A friend of mine often does road trips with her friends whenever they discover a new painted silo.

In my work I travel around regional Victoria and I see quite a few of them. These are my own pics taken in my travels.

Nullawill Sea Lake
The art here started out with one tiny town in Victoria called Brim commissioning an artist to paint a silo. The very first one was in Western Australia I think. It created a lot of tourism to the town and others have followed all around Australia, They fundraise or apply for grants to do the same. The scale of them is incredible and when you see the artist painting them it is hard to see how they can paint it up so close and come out with the end result.
This link has Australia wide silo art and it is amazing to see them all together www.australiansiloarttrail.com/siloart
