I’m 58 years old and have been driving since i was 16. I’ve never changed my car’s wiper blades or added windshield washer fluid.
Both need to be done soon! Do I just Google for a car supply place and go in and smile and ask them what I want? Or do I research and go in and do it myself, hoping that I get it right?
Who's next?

I usually go to the auto parts store and get the blades. I ask if they would put them on and they are happy to help.
Fluid is easy to fill. Pop the hood and pour it in the container. It's very well marked, usually, so you know where to pour.

I'm 63 and have never changed a tire. Don't plan to start anytime soon either, so I keep a AAA membership!
The fluid is easy to do. For the wipers, just tell them the make/model of your car and they will give you the blades. Usually they will change them for you, but if not you can watch a YouTube on how to do it. Not difficult, unless you drive a big SUV and are short, thus requiring a ladder to do it. I just get them to change them for me.

I’m 50 and I’ve never cooked a turkey or chicken. I don’t even like to pull the meat off a rotisserie chicken from the store

I would imagine these days they probably won’t be interested in changing the blades for me. I think I’ll try the YouTube route, thank you. Glad to know the washer fluid should be super easy Everything crossed please!

I’m 51 and have never had a pedicure . Any particular reason, or just doesn’t appeal to you? I don’t get them often, but when I do I always think to myself that I should do it regularly.

Up until last month I could say I'm 53 years old and I have never taken my car through a car wash ... ex always washed the cars and trucks ... now that I'm on my own I did it for the first time last month ... yay me I also bought oil for the car but I got the guy at the gas station to add it for me (we still have full service at some places) ... I don't want to do things like that I've never changed a tire and I never will ... that is beyond my capabilities ...

I’m 51 and have never had a pedicure . I am 54 and have never had a pedicure Or a manicure Or A facial Or a waxing of any kind Or a professional massage Or lots of things. Boy, it sounds like I don’t keep up with these things. I do, just don’t have someone else do them.

As for the massage, I had no choice. My DD loves them so two years ago my SIL got gift certificates for the two of us to get massages. At one point, I could not understand what the masseuse guy wanted me to do and I ended up flopping around on the table like a fish on carpet. Gawd. I couldn't wait to get out of there, lol.

this is funny about all these "spa" type things... i got married in 1999 and had ONE pedicure in my life - before my wedding. i dye my hair from a box, get my hair cut (for $15) about every 9-12 months, etc, etc. don't get manicures, waxes, tints, etc, etc (not that for one second do i believe there is *anything* wrong with any of that, for the record, but i am fair and, well, i don't have that much in the eyebrow/body hair dept). i go right the sale rack when i shop at a store but buy at least 50% of my clothes from value village (and wouldn't have it any other way). i did go for massages when a) i had extended health care benefits or b) when i was gifted massage certificates in one of the court papers ex filed, he claimed that he could not keep up supporting my expectations for a "lavish lifestyle" and "champagne tastes".... he has NO IDEA.... however post split, i have had 3 pedicures and manicures and LOVED every second of it!! i am 49 years old and have never changed a tire, topped up fluids or disposed of a dead rodent (live rodent....yes, dead.... nope). living on my own, i now have to deal with snow shovelling, garbage day, toilet issues, furnace going out...but it's all good. i got it!!

I just have really ugly toes and odd nail beds (hands too), an inheritance from my grandmother, and have always been self-conscious about them. I keep the nails clipped and my feet scrubbed and will put some polish on them, but I’ve just never wanted a pedicure .

Wiper blades were obviously designed by a male because they are ridiculously hard to get off and on (at least on my van). The fluids should be easy. I'm 42 and I've never been to a bar... I mean I've been in places with bars, and I've ordered drinks at restaurants but I've never been to the kind of bar with a juke box and told my life story to a bartender... On my 21st birthday I went to the grocery store and bought myself a beer... all my friends at the time were under 21 so couldn't take me out!

I've only had a pedicure once because it was included with being a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding (all four of us went). I don't like my toes or my feet being touched...

Glad to know the washer fluid should be super easy Everything crossed please! The blades themselves should have a little instruction manual in them or something printed on the packages to show how it works. It's really not hard, though you have to follow the manual because different models will attach different ways. When you go to the store, there will be a little flip book where you find your make and model of car and it will tell you which blades fit that car. I've never talked to anyone at the store to do this. I usually get them at walmart. Pay attention to whether you need two different blades or two of the same (Mine are two different styles). If you want to get REALLY into some new stuff, get a bottle of rain-x and use that, it's actually REALLY useful in heavy rain.

I'm 63, and never had a manicure or a pedicure, had my hair dyed, or permed. but I've changed tires, shoveled snow, put on chains, changed wiper blades, added fluids to car, done oil changes (in the old days).
and have vacationed overseas by myself. (the husband and the kids stayed home.. I left for a month).
I've done lots of other stuff though..

I stop by the auto parts store(Auto Zone) and buy the wipers, if I ask they will put them on. I usually give the person who does it a tip ($5.00) for doing it.
Wiper fluid is easy. Just open the cap and pour it in. If you purchase it at the same time as the wipers, you can ask them to do that as well.

I’m 51 and have never had a pedicure . Similar story here..... I'm 52 and have never had a pedicure or a manicure. Pedicure - I can't bear the thought of anyone touching my feet. And as for the manicure..... (1) I personally think it's a waste of money, there are plenty of other things I would prefer to spend my money on, and (2) I cannot stand filing my nails or having someone else filing my nails. I can't be in the same room as someone filing their nails. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me. <shudder>
