I’ve never: Changed a tire Changed my oil I've never changed my oil either. I ONCE changed my tire after getting off work to find it flat. It was mid-shift at a resort with no one coming or going for that entrance so I decided to do it myself. Did it. So proud. Then, after all that time and effort, I lowered the jack and the spare was flat. NEVER again.

I am 44 and have never had a dog. I was terrified of them when I was a kid but now I like them, just not convinced that our urban family should have one. My sister and brother’s families each have one and my boys love them and have been really nagging me during confinement. My DH grew up with dogs and he’s ready for it. Hmmmm. I’m still kind of scared.

I'm 60 and I've never:
Shot a gun or owned a gun and I never will (unless there is a zombie apocalypse) Done any illegal drug except pot in college back in the late 1970's and early 1980's Been hunting or killed an animal (and I never will, even if I was starving I'd rather find edible plants to eat at this point in my life) Had a pedicure or facial Changed the oil in my car
But I've:
Traveled solo overseas in Germany and Poland for almost a month (leaving DH and DS at home-they had to work) and now prefer solo travel Learned to eat comfortably in restaurants by myself Can change a tire on a car (my father taught all of his kids this skill when we got our driver's license) Been on one cruise (never again) Been to one resort (was okay, but I don't prefer it). Had cats as pets since I was 8 years old so that's the past 52 years. Had dogs as pets almost as long and raised a German Shepherd puppy on my own.

I've never had a manicure or pedicure. I've never changed the oil in my car, but I have changed a flat tire, changed wiper blades, and I know how to put snow chains on. I've never shot a gun, although I wouldn't mind learning. I've never experienced a hurricane or a tornado, and I do not want to. I've never smoked anything. I have asthma so I was always afraid to aggravate it.

My plan for the zombie apocalypse is to run to the nearest boat marina (we have a ton here in Annapolis) and if I don't own a blue water cruising sailboat by then I'll steal one-which I hate to do, but hey, we are talking life and death here. Fill the fresh water tanks, get there with a huge stock of food some fresh, mostly canned, load it up with my family and take off into the Chesapeake Bay (we're right next to it) and from there into the ocean. Hopefully zombies won't know how to swim. I think the safest place will be out on the ocean cruising between different islands and land masses.

I would imagine these days they probably won’t be interested in changing the blades for me. I think I’ll try the YouTube route, thank you. In general they are more then happy to put them on! There is very little on a motor vehicle that I have not repaired, or replaced. On another rote: never ever illegal drugs.

I've never shot a gun either, but I've been shot at close range (bb gun with lead bullets, 1974). Lost my eye and had well over 45+ surgeries to repair the socket, etc. I'm in severe pain daily (lots of damage), and my newest surgeon was the first one to successfully remove that bb last year from deep within my socket. DH made a necklace out of it for me.
So, I'll avoid all guns at every cost, and I'll warn parents how dangerous even a "toy" gun could be.
As for the things I've done: I've learned from my dad how to change the oil on my car since I was 17. He even helped show me when I got a Mazda and it was more difficult. My dad taught me how to change a tire. We've had dogs ever since I was a toddler. My dad used to get his German Shepard from Germany. I'Ve had cats ever since DD was about 14. We've had almost every type of pet when she was young. No snakes, and no ferrets. I was used to having a sip of wine or champagne ever since I was young. It's an Italian thing. I learned how to cook from both of my parents ever since I was 8. They let me bake by then too! I've gotten mani/pedis very late in life (late 40's). I'm back to doing it myself. IVe been on a cruise and swore I'd never go again. I've been pregnant at the same time as 2 of my sisters (unplanned), twice. I've hosted all dinners, barbecues, bunches, at my house for up to 30-40 people and always did my own cooking. I never used paper dishes or napkins, even while hosting big crowds.

If the ZA occurs I am going to make myself a caramel apple and find some raspberries and sit down for a final meal. I am terribly allergic to both, and I think going that way would be much better then being eaten by a Zombie, so that is my plan. My husband is in charge of surviving and taking care of the cats.

I am on the downhill side of 40 and I have never smoked anything other then candy cigarettes, never changed a diaper, never worn any makeup besides lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. I have never put any sort of lotion or foundation on my face (other then sunscreen) or eyeshadow or blush or anything fancy like that. If I tried I am sure I would end looking like Baby Jane.

I’m “40 something” and I’ve NEVER:
-had a pedicure (I do paint my nails myself),
-read any Harry Potter books or watched the movies
-watched Walking Dead, GOT, American Horror Story, Tiger King whatever that’s going on now, nor any if the other vampire themed TV shows/series as of late,
-my kids don’t have phones, iPads, or video game consoles (we do have a Wii that hasn’t been used in years!!),
-seen the Titantic movie with Kate & Leo,
-smoked pot, or cigarettes,
-drank an energy drink or Red Bull or anything close to that,

Some of you clearly were not raised with my dad. We couldn't take a car out of the garage without being able to change a tire, add fluids, etc. It is just like pumping your own gas. You gotta know how to do it.
The pedicure? It really isn't about the painting of the nails. That part takes about 3 minutes. It's all about the cleaning out the toe gunk and the massage, the hot rocks, the exfoliation etc. For me it is like taking a nice warm shower after a day at the lake. You might look okay, but you know you are dirty.
I have done many of things people have mentioned except smoked pot. Not my thing and it smells like skunk ass. I know people have different reactions to it, and I am pretty sure I'd either laugh hysterically or be paranoid.

Any particular reason, or just doesn’t appeal to you? I don’t get them often, but when I do I always think to myself that I should do it regularly. I just have really ugly toes and odd nail beds (hands too), an inheritance from my grandmother, and have always been self-conscious about them. I keep the nails clipped and my feet scrubbed and will put some polish on them, but I’ve just never wanted a pedicure . I'm 42 and I've had a few pedicures (literally like 4), but never a manicure. And I'll never ever have one. My fingernails are super thin and weak and I bite my cuticles despite my best efforts and I'd be utterly embarrassed to have someone see them up close and personal.

I'm 57 and I've never been drunk. Only had 3 drinks in an evening once in my life. Two is rare. Now I haven't drunk a thing for over a year as I'm on too many meds. But yeah, been a bit tipsy from champagne (a TINY amount), but that's it!
