It's not even Halloween yet and the ads have begun. I just saw a commercial for Best Buy. Although they didn't actually say 'Christmas' or 'holiday' it was winter, there was snow, and there was a yellow swirly tree drawing in the background. This is just too early for me. I don't get into the holiday spirit until mid November. Besides, the temperature is still in the 80's here in SoCal so I won't be jingling any bells or decking any halls for a while yet.

Ha, I just saw that same commercial and I was thinking the same thing! It's going to hit 90 or so on Friday, can't even begin to think about Christmas.

Yes, we saw this commercial Monday night and I told DH to get ready, because it was about to puke Christmas at midnight on the 31st. Lights go out on Halloween and BAM...it Christmas!

The most fabulous thing about having Netflix or streaming online is the lack of commercials, BUT, I actually do miss seeing the few really clever or catchy ones now & again.
On the radio, OTOH, I am already hearing about the holidays.
