This week a couple of years ago, we lost our dear sweet Cindy, scrapincin! She was so talented, kind and had a great sense of humor. Tribute To Cindy by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr When I first came to Two Peas in a Bucket I was just shopping and looking at the gallery. Then one day I posted a few pictures of these cards I made. She left a comment and invited me to join the Pokey Peas group. I didn't even know what a forum or message board was. But I did visit and never left! They were so encouraging at a time I needed some support. So Cindy was the reason I got to meet all of you folks. I truly miss her and hope her family is hanging in there, especially this week. Leave a comment on what you remember about her if you like!

I remember how encouraging she was in the Pokey Peas Challenge. No matter what health issues she was going through, she seemed so upbeat and positive.

She really was so kind and welcoming, and such a positive presence on the board. I miss you too, Cindy.
Thank you for the thread Kelly.

Yes, I remember Cindy, not well, because I wasn't regularly participating on the boards 2 years ago, but her face is certainly remembered! It's nice of you to remind us of her kellyr21.

Thank you for posting this, kellyr21. I left a note on her obituary page this weekend and her daughter Kellie sent me an email. She said that Pokey Peas was so good for her mom. But Cindy was so good for us. Always upbeat, always helpful and always there. I miss her so much. I love the little Pea buttons she made for us. She was a GEM!

I left a note on her photo you posted in the Gallery, kellyr21 . She was indeed a GEM, as nylene said. So kind and helpful and welcoming. Full of good advice and encouragement. Every time I see that happy little turtle, I have to smile--and sometimes shed a tear or two. Rest in peace, scrapincin !
