I loved it! I hope this is something that continues even if we get to eventually return to normal.
I ordered a room air conditioner which weighs over 50 lbs from the Lowes website this morning. Since I would have needed to get help loading it anyway, I figured I'd do the curbside pick up. It was very efficient. And I like that I had one less place to go in and out of. I never like having to walk all over those concrete warehouse floors looking for stuff.
I know I'm behind the times on this. It's nice to have a good shopping experience. Oh and all the Lowes employees I saw had on masks.

I recently did a curbside pick up with Lowes as well and it was a great experience. I needed random items like furnace filters, garden gloves and bird seed; and my local store has been so packed every time I've driven by that the thought of shopping in person wasn't appealing. I placed my order, got a notification a few hours later that it was complete, drove to the store and called, and a very pleasant employee came out and loaded everything into my trunk shortly afterwards.
I've also done a couple of curbside pick orders with my local Joann store and those were good experiences as well. It took longer - usually a couple of days - but those items were more wants than needs so I didn't mind.

There are a lot of things I hope continue. Curbside pickup is definitely one. It’s not great for (as I have learned!) shopping for a bunch of different fabrics to make a quilt, but it’s great for having an item you have already picked out that doesn’t cost you shipping or make you wait. My neighborhood bookstore is doing it, and I LOVE it (although I will also be very happy to go back in and browse). Takeout cocktails have also been a good development .

I'm glad you had a good experience, my curbside pickup experience with Lowe's last week was absolutely horrible. My grocery store pickups have not been particularly great either. I love the concept, but it's really not helpful when I wait for an hour just to get through to tell someone I'm there. And it's really not helpful when half the items from my order are missing and I have to go elsewhere to find them.

Our Lowe’s curbside pick up was a disaster but theHD ones have all gone smoothly.. Grocery store didn’t go well either.

Grocery curbside pick up has been good, Lowe's online ordering has been so I'm not eager to try curb side pick up. I'm glad that seems to work though. We ordered something two months ago and had a delivery date. Turns out the item is not being delivered and they don't have it in stock and won't any time soon. Grrr. Lowe's is on my naughty list ETA: after canceling the Lowe's order went to costco.com. bough the item in 5 minutes and it will be here Tuesday.

This is something I did way before the pandemic. If I never have to go in a grocery store again in my life, that’s fine by me.
My WM and Target have always been fantastic at curbside and they’ve only gotten better during all this mess.

I’ve been doing curbside groceries for a while but recently picked up garden related items at Canadian Tire and Home Depot and it was great! Very efficient and the guys working were super helpful and pleasant.

I love curbside pick up and hope it stays. This die hard shopper doesn't miss the stores as much as she thought she would!

I tried Lowe's curbside pick up & it was awful. Would have been faster to go in, shop & check out. I waited 40 mins for AC filters.

I did one curbside order from Michael’s around Easter and it was so fast and easy. I ordered and paid online, they emailed me to let me know it was ready for pickup, I drove to the store and called the number, the person came out and dropped it through my open car window after verifying it was me. Probably because I knew exactly what I needed and didn’t need to compare anything. It’s much harder when you need to see things in person to get the right color, style, etc.

We've been doing curb side pick up from Home Depot for available few weeks now. Best thing ever when there's lines everywhere.

I did curbside pickup at my local nursery. It was awesome. I ordered and paid online. They had 3 parking spots clearly labeled, with a sign showing the phone number to call.

Have you experienced a Target pickup yet? I’m telling you they have set the bar. If you use their app you can indicate you are on your way and they track you and know when you arrive and voila, target fairies appear and you are backing out seconds after you just pulled in.

They've been doing this for a few years where I live. Unfortunately I have a stupid flip phone so I can't take advantage of it. The wifi doesn't extend out far enough for me to use my iPad. I want a smart phone for this function (and pictures on the go).

I've done 3 Lowe's curbside pick up. The first one was super great, but it was also 7am in the morning and hardly anyone was at the store yet. The 2nd one was mid-day and it was crazy as the weather was beautiful and people had totally forsaken the "safer at home" rules. I tried calling for about 5 minutes and finally gave up, masked/gloved up and went in. They told me they had already had like 200 orders placed that day. The 3rd time, they clearly had revamped their process because it was totally new and worked much better.
I've also done one with Home Depot and it went smooth as well.

Curbside pickup is one of the best things to come out of this! I've been using the grocery store pick up weekly since SIP. To that I've added the local garden nursery, Lowe's and the local orchard (which has expanded their grocery offerings to include a lot of small Amish farm products like eggs and cheese as well as locally grown produce).

We've been using The Home Depot curbside pick-up and are pleased with it. I also used it at Tractor Supply for bird seed. Hopefully it will continue.

I have done 2 curbside p/u at Lowe's. 2 completely different experiences. The one not local to me, I drove 45 minutes and pulled up into a spot. Called the number and the employee wearing a mask, was at my car in 5 minutes. The one I did local? What a joke. Pulled up to the curbside marker and called the number. Was told I had to come inside. Huh? This is a curbside pickup. "yeah, you'll need to come inside." I went inside and held my tongue. I was then told my order wasn't ready. I told them I had received email that it was. They looked and finally found it. I was asked to pull my car around for them to bring it out. It was a grill. That was to be assembled. They brought out a box. Nope, it was ordered to be assembled and I want an assembled grill. I have put one of those together and nope, not gonna do it again. I waited. They came out with the floor model since they didn't have one assembled and I guess no employee wanted to put one together. I was happy I was wearing a mask that day. My mouth said words no one heard or saw!
