Hi pea friends! Been following this thread from the beginning but knew I wouldn't have time to participate with still working full-time...until yesterday. I was unfortunately one of 11 employees to have been let go permanently from my job. 7 years. Loved my job. Loved my schedule. Loved my co-workers. Gutted. Company sales down 50% last month due to COVID-19. Catastrophic. Life will go on. Unemployment will be filed. A new job will be found. Until then, I will take one day at a time... ...and I will finally get some ME time with my stash. ♥ Aw girl, I am so sorry. Hugs and prayers/positive thoughts that another wonderful job opens up for you.

Here is my DAY TWO effort. About Easter, rather than Christmas. But I have a big title and I have food. Team Work makes the Meal work by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am not only behind in prompts, I am behind is leaving love. Will get back here later today.

Here's another double page based on a Scrapbook Generation sketch. I think I covered bold (5x7 photo) and song lyric (title) from Tuesday and metallic from today. Merry Christmas Baby

First layout is done. Took some breaks here and there to do other things. I used Pink Fresh Studios Office House and Super Cool lines, random washi tape, and Elle's Studio puffy heart stickers.

I bought a few pieces as they could work for school layouts.

ComplicatedLady , can you post a pic of Speckled Egg and Chipped Saphire together? I have had the Chipped Saphire for a long time. If I need to replace it, should I move on to Speckled Egg? Or do I NEED to have them both? I will not be playing with paper much until Wednesday, b/c dd and dgs are here until Tuesday afternoon. And when I play, I will have pages and cards to do that are not end-of-year theme related. But I still hope to play along with the crop. And the red/green challenge with the favourite icon and classic greeting might just get me hooked to put together just. one. card... Dd and dgs are doing homeschooling right now. Hmmm... How much time do I need... Here are the containers side by side. I think you may need both. Maybe I will use the actual inks and can compare those for you in the near future. No promises though!!

Linda, your pages are wonderful. I think my favourite is the Christmas party one. All the greenery, the rich red, the tilted photos, oh my... @sunnycalimom, that Zoom Class page is really cool. Love that pp at the left with all the office supplies. Perfect for all the time we spend these days at a desk.

Thank you grammadee finished up another one with some 8x8 papers I picked up at Goodwill pre-pandemic - chronologically I'm about halfway through Dec 2018 but the second half is picture heavy.

Of course I love the horsey papers, Linda! Love the criss crossed mats, and fat and thin banners.

I’m behind on looking at everyone’s work, sorry! I finished another 22 upcycled holiday cards today. Had to get a little bit more creative with this bunch. They were mostly large or square ones. I did some disassembly of other people’s handmade cards, which always feels very wrong, but is sometimes necessary to be able to give them another life. I listened to 3 hours of my nonfiction audiobook (The Blood of Emmett Till) while I worked, making both the crafting and the listening easier (the book is obviously about awful things, but it’s somewhat easier listening than I expected).

I printed some journaling strips! Finally got it... I've been cutting strips and spending way too much time deciding where to adhere them for the past hour. I'll try to photograph the end result before daylight starts fading significantly and then I'll pop back in here and get all caught up on all the pretty projects you ladies have been posting!

DD has her IgG infusion in a bit and then I will be sitting down to work on her SubQ layout. Getting things prepped right now as we wait the 30 min for her pre meds to do their thing (Tylenol and Benadryl)

I ordered cardstock for Christmas cards today. Im going bright and nontraditional - lime green, turquoise, pink. Bright and fun and happy. It wont be here in time for this crop, but I will get time to work on them in July. I got a world die last month with the card kit I bought. Gave me the idea to use the sayings Peace on Earth, Joy to the World, Greetings across the miles. Will add sequins to the cards for some bling as well.
I only have to make about 30-40 this year. I have decided not to do the swap here this year, although this year is probably the year I need that daily shot of happiness hit my mail box the most.

Ok, here's a snapshot of the 22 A2 cards I re-made yesterday, plus 4 slimline cards I did (one from scratch with Doodlebug, and then 3 underneath that are upcycled long cards, Caring Hearts doesn't take non standard cards so they will go to Bring Smiles to Seniors or I will use them myself). The poinsettia in the lower corner was an experiment I had stamped and colored in January - now it's a card. These cards were mostly bigger so I had to crop them. The dogs was a tall card so I cropped their legs out. The ornament cards just had some edges trimmed. I have to do some work now, but I will assess the rest of the pile this afternoon and see if I can get anything else out of it. If not I will pull out some supplies from last year and see about making some Doodlebug cards. http://instagr.am/p/CBTfK6CpceK
