One option is to try the app for a month free trial, even without the bike, to see if you like the vibe. They have lots of other workouts. And you could just watch a few minutes of an actual spin class. Also, I bought a non-Peloton bike that I can use with the peloton app. It’s a lot cheaper and resale is going for 100% of the original price so it’s very low risk to try. I'm another who uses the Peloton app with a non-Peloton bike. I went this route to begin with because I wasn't sure I'd like spin and even if I did, I doubted I'd continue to work out at home after the pandemic. But, I fell in love and have zero regrets not buying the actual Peloton. Is it better than my current bike? Yes? Is is 3x better (it's 3x the cost)? Nope, no way. And I never have to worry about the software not being upgraded anymore (like the first gen Peloton). I use my iPad Pro, so I have a nice big screen. And instead of spending an extra $1600 on the bike itself (plus $480/year for programming), I spent that on building out the rest of my home gym. I LOVE the Peloton app - the workouts are great. Cycling, strength, stretching - I use them all often. Can I ask which bike you bought? I’m interested but I’m not going to spend the amount for a peloton bike. I’ve done a little research but I’m interested in personal opinions.

Thank you! I suspect the cleats are the culprit - they are so bulky I think they dig into the ball of my foot and make it go numb (I spend a lot of time out of the saddle). Did you get your pedals off amazon? I got my pedals and shoes off amazon. ShoesPedals make sure when you buy the pedals that you get the clips that go on the bottom of the shoes. The ones I bought and linked you to includes them but I noticed some didn't. Thank you!!! Hope to not be numb soon! Lol
