Hi everyone, I can't believe it's June already, where did May go? Here is the video for the new SheetLoad of cards. youtu.be/658iGuGY814Extra 5 points if you make the cards masculine and an extra 2 if it's for Father's day! Have fun!!! I'm back with my cards. I changed the size on the cs for the banners. Didn't like the thicker mat just felt to heavy, its 1 5/8 " instead of 1 3/4". www.flickr.com/photos/182969812@N05/49964848903/in/dateposted-public/

Love your masculine cards, azcrafty! I have a few Fathers' Day cards to make and you have given me the inspiration I need to get started.

I see you used a SU banner punch azcrafty - is that the triple banner punch that Crafty Al mentions using? (I haven’t watched the second video yet but I saw it in her first video description). I’m curious how helpful it is. I’m guessing she’s going to mention it in the second one but do you find it helpful? Did you still have to eyeball cut the matting for the banners? I’m pretty hopeless at getting banners even and straight.

I think your cards look fabulous, azcrafty! They are very masculine, in a refreshing, classy way.

Thank you scrapnnana. I do struggle with masculine cards, I got a few british magazines with some good 'freebies' that are masculine themed so I'm enjoying using those.

joblackford I love my banner punch. I'm the same way the fish tails are never even if i cut it by hand, and the punch just makes the process so much faster. Hobby Lobby has a similar punch not sure about the quality. I love SU punches, they just have a solid feel to them and I know I can punch heavy cs with them. I purchased a fiskars punch at TM and would not cut anything heavier than computer paper, it was very disappointing. Here is a pic how I made my banners.

I started the sheetload last night and the cutting guide was very helpful. But 100% joblackford , the fish tails were the tricky part, especially as I have no punch for it. When I got an OK one I used it for a template like she showed in the video.

Appreciate you sharing the picture - that's very helpful. I guess I might buy my first ever SU product... I am very wary of any MLM companies and getting on mailing lists I don't want to be on long term, so I only consider it if it's *really* worth my while. It sounds like this might be.

jjpeapea, I love how bright and cheery these are! I have the pieces cut for the other three, but put together this one to see what it looks like. Didn't photograph very well--I think the metallic copper caused a reflection that dulled everything else. But here is my take: fd card 2020 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Thanks for the inspiration azcrafty . I got some papers from a LSS kit that are beautiful and tropical that I have no pictures for. I like how they turned into cards. I also won a cruise paper pack, and I've never been on a cruise (and I'm not likely to go on one in the near future), so maybe I will make some nautical cards, too. Together

These are so great-I love everyone's take on these cards. I used a old EP spring pack that I had basically bought on clearance for 2 sheets of bees in it lol.

@kendramage I love that paper and you did a good job coordinating the colors of the cs. Love how you used a simple sentiment too.

azcrafty, I watched the videos and loved her shout out to you for your clever banner fish tail idea. I still plan to try this out. Yes it was really nice of her. One of her subscriber created a svg cutting file. This will make it really easy to make those banners. Here is the video with the information. youtu.be/tIvVLhX9ods

I watched a lot of the Sheetload videos and subscribed to the channel. Thanks for the link. I got excited about the January 2020 design and started it. Then I remembered that wasn't the challenge. By then I had everything cut, so I'll post it here. I will try to do the correct one before the end of the month. I found this to be quick and fun. Happy Birthday Sheetload

Love your cards nylene and the colors are so festive. Those balloons are great, is that a cut file? I have a scanncut but not really good at using it. I know this sheetload of cards are pretty addictive. Did you use the cutting files?

I just used the directions on the video and sketch. I was using some scraps for the cardstock, so just used the measurements. They are really addictive. I love having something ready so I can just sit and mindlessly put it together while watching TV with DH. These are perfect for that. I have to make 8 identical cards each month for card club (when we have no virus issues) and these are perfect for that. I usually make 12 so I have some of my own to mail to friends and relatives.
The balloons are from a Lawn Fawn balloon die set. The others on that set quite large big but there were 2 small ones. They worked great.
