Here's the Sketch for this week. It's from a Miss Fish Template set.
And the layout I made with it.
AussieMeg, I meant to post this first thing this morning after posting to the SS sign up thread, but life kind of side tracked me for a while. Sorry.

Wow, I love it! Interestingly, the sketch/template on it's own doesn't jump out at me, and I wouldn't have bought it. But your layout sure jumped out at me, and I would definitely have saved it to scrap lift. You need to be on Miss Fish's design team!!

Thanks for an awesome sketch Lisa, I had a ball putting this page together! I used the kit I put together for the DIY Kit challenge.

Thanks for the compliment, AussieMeg. I love your layout. I can't believe how close the ducks got to the teddy and Max. The pinwheel and banner are adorable. I love the addition of the circle photo.

LisaDV and AussieMeg, your pages are AMAZING!!! Gotta love digital! But my little brain is working on how I could do this with IRL papers. Letter stickers can be made to follow a half circle... Don't do many single pages except for calendar and title pages, but this could definitely work for one of those. Or turn it on its side and have the title come up from middle bottom of the first page with the photo blocking on the right half of that page and across the second page of a two page spread... Hmmmm.... What an interesting sketch!

I have ton of photos from this day, so now I have to work out how to cohesively add a second page too!

What a beautiful way to use this sketch, kellyr21! Love the smaller circle and title, and the flowers and butterflies.

Beautiful page, lynnek! Love the big cluster with the ornaments. My take in the challenge got away from me. I had a vision in my head that just wouldn't work on paper, so I finally just let the photos and the papers do what they wanted. This is what resulted: Team Work makes the Meal work by Gramma Dee, on Flickr It also meets two of yesterdays CIJ prompts--Large title and food & drink.

grammadee! I love how the sketch went for you! That is what I love about working from a sketch - it gives a starting place, but then allows for creativity!

This one was a struggle for me - I love how circles LOOK but making them work for me is a whole 'nother thing.
