I haven't tried this yet but it looks pretty easy and straightforward. I think this type might look better than a business envelope. Might be a good way to use up some of my lasting impressions paper stash. youtu.be/VoVRvjkxaGI

Thanks! I've been using kraft business sized envelopes which look less business-y than actual business envelopes.

Thanks for sharing this link. I've been admiring these long cards for a while now. Does anyone know if they require extra postage?

Thanks for sharing this link. I've been admiring these long cards for a while now. Does anyone know if they require extra postage? If you're in the U.S., here is a link to letter sizes that use regular first class stamps. Link to USPS chartThe thing to remember is the item must be rectangular, 1/4" or less thick, and not have floppy sides*. *If the card doesn't fit completely in the envelope, I cut a piece of cardstock and add that to make the ends not floppy.

Thanks for sharing this link. I've been admiring these long cards for a while now. Does anyone know if they require extra postage? They're the same size as any bill or official mail you receive, so definitely not, unless they're heavy or lumpy (same as a regular A2 or 5x7 card).

I've used her template to mail a couple of slimline cards. It worked great!! I also bought a pack of 50 multi color #9 envelopes on Amazon. I find they fit the slimline cards a bit better than a standard #10 business envelope. The #9 envelopes are 3⅞ x 8⅞ inches which means it's ¼" shorter and ⅝" narrower than the #10 so the card doesn't move around in the envelope as much. Here's the link to the ones I bought. #9 Multicolor Envelopes
