We’ve been there. It really is amazing Same. It's a short train ride outside of Krakow - the chandelier room in the photo is so impressive in person. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Krakow in future. It's a little triggering for anyone who suffers with claustrophobia on the way up/down but once you're inside I found it no problem at all - it's easy to forget you're all the way down in the ground!

My daughter visited when she was in Poland last summer. It’s just beautiful.

DS did a J Term in Poland, studying Pope John Paul II. This was his favorite place that he saw in Poland. He found it so inspiring that people would create and carve all of that.

Gorgeous. TFS. I’ve only been to Poland once and that was to buy pottery. I would love to return and visit here. There is a fantastic video on the mine’s website as well .

Interesting. The underground lake caught my attention because water wasn't allow in the mine I visited in Kansas. The difference must be that the one in Kansas stores documents and movie memorabilia so it must stay dry.
