So many options.... I want to be able to print photos from my cell phone with ease.
I found my old Canon Selphy C900. It was a gift and got lost in storage and never set up. I'm worried that I won't be able to use this printer with my Iphone 11, so I haven't even set it up to try. I think I may sell this older version on our Marketplace and purchase a new photo printer. I imagine since 2011 they've come a long way...
What are your thoughts?
Do you use a photo printer at home?
What do you use?
Do you remember how much you spent on it?
How often do you need photo paper or ink refills?
What is that cost usually?
Ideally, I'd like to make small prints so 2 - 2x3s on a 4x6 print, but I'd like them to be good quality prints still.
I used to love ordering these small prints from ScrapbookPictures.com but they've been out of business for years. I order almost all of my photo prints from the FreePrints App.
Thanks in advance!!!

I use my Canon Pixma and print pretty much all my photos at home, except if I have a bulk print after a vacation. Printer is about 10 years old now but still going strong.
It probably does work out more expensive than sending them away but I like the convenience. I use various templates in PSE to print different sizes.

I've been a Canon pixma girl for years. Love the colors, the cost and the fact that it's not tempermental like a previous full size epson I had in the past. I just recently also bought an Epson PM-400 for a super deal on amazon to print pictures at work. This one is the small sized one and has great reviews. I also send large bulk orders out for printing. Only print for specific layouts and sizes at home.

I love my Selphy. I have a CP900 and CP1100. I keep the 1100 packed in my crop bag and the 900 sits on my desk. It’s great to take to weekend crops because if I need a logo or image, I can screenshot it and sent it over to the printer. They use the same cartridges and paper. The iPhone app allows for collage photos too.

I have the Epson XP-15000 large format printer, as well as the PictureMate. I love scrapping large formats photos, so it was worth the $350 to me to not have to send off for prints, not knowing how they’ll turn out. I like the PictureMate for when I just need one or two pics. I print as I go, and not usually in bulk.

I have an Epson PM-400, though I don't use it much. I mostly forget to print current photos as I've been working through a backlog of childhood/early adulthood photos. I haven't used it enough to replace any of the supplies, so I can't speak to the associated costs.
This thread inspired me to pull it out and print some photos from Christmases past so I can play along with the Christmas in June event!
I've never used the collage feature in the Epson Creative Print App before. There are a lot of layout options!

I use the Epson PM 400. You can print up to 5x7. If I am ordering prints, I use MPix or Persnickity Prints.

I’m going to try out my selphy this week and see if I can get those multiple photos printed.
