Wow, that really surprises me. She always spoke about how much she loved her family. Also she recorded a song that of course I cant remember the name of at the moment but, it speaks of how great her husband is and that he would never ask her for money and how much they love each other unlike her dad.

Wow! That shocks me. I heard she wanted more kids and he said no, maybe that's a part of it?

I heard her on a radio interview and she said they had sex like everyday. But yeah, I'm kinda surprised too.

There have been rumors for years that he is a serial cheater. If it’s true, I’m glad she’s kicking him to the curb and I hope she has a good prenup.

Perhaps SIP didn't agree with them - my daughter said something like 300 couples filed for divorce the day the quarantine was lifted in Wuhan.

Wow! That shocks me. I heard she wanted more kids and he said no, maybe that's a part of it? I heard do an interview some months back and she said she was happy with her kids, not wanting any more because she knows how much work it is. She said it a comical way but made it clear that she was good. Sad about the divorce but we don’t know what happens behind closed doors.

I like her singing voice but hate her talk show. She seems phony on it. I do hope things can work out amicably for the sake of the two kids though.

I’d be more upset about losing Reba as a mother in law. They always seemed so close. I hope that relationship can be maintained.

That does surprise me. She always acted like he was the best ever. Maybe the sex wore off?

Marriage is hard. People used to die much earlier when marriage was "for life". DH and I have been married forever But it's all luck. Yes, we work at it, but it's luck to pick "the person" when you're young, and then change in ways that complement each other (cuz you're gonna change from 20-50+)

I thank God every day for my grumpy, stay at home DH - will be 40 years next month.

Her husband and his father who was married to Reba are cheaters. But then again Reba and Kelly both met then when they were married so if they will do it with you they will do it to you.
I do love Kelly's voice and her music but I think she is stretching herself too thin with all she is doing.

I’ve been married almost 30 years. We’ve both done a lot of changing in that time. Some of those years were really hard. You can never really know what’s in someone else’s heart, but I assume DH is just as happy to be married to me as I am to be married to him. I feel like we weathered all those hard years to get to this point where we truly feel like partners in this marriage. Our lives are entwined in ways that can’t be undone.
If either us should decide to get out, it would be a tragedy. I would not remarry. After such a long marriage, I’m not interested in starting over with someone else, nor interested in making the required compromises to make it work.

I don’t understand why celebrities feel the need to announce a divorce to the world.

I don’t understand why celebrities feel the need to announce a divorce to the world. Because if they won't the tabloids will and make it seem like "scoop".

And with the tabloids reporting it as a scoop they make it sounds much worse like Kelly Clarkson divorcing cheating husband!! If the celebrities announce it first they can try and get ahead of the rumors.

I don’t understand why celebrities feel the need to announce a divorce to the world. Did you read the article? I did because I am usually so out of touch I am surprised I know who Kelly Clarkson is lol.
It doesn't sound they announced it all though. from the article:
Divorce filings are a matter of public record aren't they? I am sure there are "reporters" who check those records constantly to get the scoop.
