Hi- I'm babysitting for a friend's 2 year old son while she runs the NYC Marathon on Sunday. I'd love to do some sort of craft/banner/card with him that he can give to her when she gets home. I would love some ideas if anyone has any! I would like it to be something a 2 1/2 year old can do with some guidance, so that it's from him. He has a great attention span and loves to color, paint and glue.
Thanks!

I love that idea How big of a canvas did you use? Did the canvas hold up or would I be better off with a board? Thanks! eta: duh- just looked at the description again and saw the size!

That's adorable. I think I'm going to make one for my sister for Christmas.

I used a 12 X 12 canvas. I think the board would probably be better, but I had 2 problems with that idea, first, I couldn't find a board that large (and have no way to cut one) and second, I would have to figure out how to hang it.
So, the canvas won. No problems finding and don't need to figure out hanging.
She only hung one medal and one race bib on the canvas, so it's holding up fine. If you wanted many medals on there, I would definitely go with a board instead.
