I'm feeling nostalgic here. My daughter was rifling through my dwindling stash of pattern papers, and she came across some manufacturers (I organize by manu), and I was just wishing I could order more from these brands. I just miss them. They were just my favorite at the height of my scrapbooking.
October Afternoon Cosmo Cricket Studio Calico Basic Grey
These were the first brands that I was introduced to, so they have a place deep in my heart <3

I miss: Daisy D's Rusty Pickle Creative Imaginations Ella and Viv The older style My Minds Eye, Srm Press, Karen Foster, Me and My Big Ideas, Sticko Phrase Cafe. I was just looking through some of my old MME and I loved their old stuff. I was looking online and not really feeling some of the new stuff they've come out with. I remember Daisy D's that was such a fun one. I didn't have much of that paper, but the one line I did have, I used for a Memorial Day scrapbook layout, and I loved the blues/reds/yellows/greens of that one. I remember that it made me think of a picnic.
I prefer the older styles of Pink Paislee too. I used to have a lot of that and used it all up.

I miss defunct Chatterbox, KI Memories, & October Afternoon as well as Bazzill & Quickutz (which became Lifestyle Crafts & is now WRMK) before these companies were swept under the AC umbrella.

I miss Basic Grey and October Afternoon. I miss the old BoBunny - before they became ultra vintage. Sassafras Lass is one I wish I had more time to explore. I know there are others not coming to mind right now.

I miss October Afternoon & Scenic Route. I recently sorted through a bin of paper and found some old Scenic Route, it felt like I won the lottery. My favorites were their background papers, grids, ledgers, lined paper etc
I miss Little Yellow Bicycle, too. Fortunately, I still have some in my stash.

October Afternoon KI Scrapworks Scenic Route
Those are all papers I would still use today if I could find them. They are papers I will never purge, they are classics to me.
There are other companies I really liked, like Sassafras and Cosmo Cricket, but I don’t now that I would buy their designs if I saw them now. The others I would buy just about all of their old lines if they were reprinted just as they were.

KI Memories for sure - great papers, colours, alphas, stickers, rub ons, acrylic before it was cool! OA. Basic Grey. I also enjoyed Chatterbox but it was a product of it's time, and using those papers now feels awkward; styles certainly have changed. I loved some of Sassafrass Lass but struggled to use it. Little Yellow Bicycle. And Scrapworks - their papers were bright and graphic and fun. CherryArte - again, very different graphic paper feel that I loved.

Dang, I love their little cardstock stickers and letter. Such a goodie!! I may have to hunt some down on EBay.

I miss October Afternoon Rusty Pickle 7 Gypsies Daisy D's Jenni Bowlin Making Memories And jenni Bowlin - gosh I loved her style and her Sweet family. They used to always have a booth at our scrapbook Expo in Arlington, TX. I loved her style. She was so down to earth. I think I still have her pack of October paper and buttons.

I need to use this stuff. My word.

I've been on a huge BasicGrey kick lately. There's a couple of online stores here that still have little bits and pieces in stock and I've ordered a few things and have loved playing with their papers again.
I've also fallen back in love with Cosmo Cricket.

I don’t miss it, but I came upon a box of Sei paper and alphas the other day and smiled remembering how much I loved their stuff back in the day. When the majority of my LSS was cutesy stuff, this stood out as modern and crisp. I did so many baby pages for my first son using their stuff.
I do miss OA. I just loved it. Every bit of it. The different ephemera packs, the stickers, the paper so pretty it was hard to cut into. Sniffle. 😢

Basic Grey. I still have a ton of it but I would love to see what they would be making now. Their paper is so easy to work with and what wonderful palettes! It is so nice to have palettes that aren't all pink and turquoise.
I loved October Afternoon, too, mostly for their alphabets, labels, die cuts, etc. Cosmo Cricket was nice, too.
Who made Elsie papers? I forget. I really loved those.
SEI was fun. Sassafras Lass had some really "out there" papers for the time period.
I loved Making Memories. Their embellishments were so cool.
You can still get Ella and Viv. There is a link on the Reminisce website. I know we were talking about those two companies going out of business but Reminisce has 2020 releases. I'm waiting on a package from them now.

What I miss more is magazines, forums, a lot of cyber friends, and Fiskateers - you know who you are. I am 3379. OH my goodness YES! I miss magazines. I had subscriptions to many of them: Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbooks Etc, Simple Scrapbook, Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers..... I miss forums too. The first forum I was ever introduced to was www.scrapfreak.com - it was mostly local, gals in and around North Texas. It was a small online store, and I'd go pick up my orders from her house to save on shipping. I loved that little shop/forum. I also miss the old Two Peas shop and forum. I bought tons of stuff there after my local shop closed down.
I also miss Brick and Mortar scrapbook stores. They are few and far between. Whenever I pass through a town I try to see if there's one nearby and I'll make a pit stop to visit it and buy something in hopes that it stays afloat. We have one in Keller, TX called Little Blue House. It's cute.
My favorite was Scrappin Bunnies in McKinney, but they closed down years and years ago.
