If so, what is it called?
(I'm talking about a group/club that organizes cards/meals, etc. for coworkers/neighbors who are ill, in need, or in a family death)
We started this in our neighborhood and were calling the people who coordinated each street Block Captains, but then things got all involved with a community wide Neighborhood Watch program and that term started to include duties under the Neighborhood Watch. Long story short, the group that we really needed never got off the ground because the volunteers didn't want to be responsible for both sets of duties.
We're restarting it but want to change the name to something a little more upbeat and completely different so that we can separate ourselves from the previous failed attempt.
